May's POV ( 7 years later )

I'm speechless. Louis just auditioned for the X Factor and sang a song that had so much meaning into it. Hey There Delilah. Before he went onstage, he pulled me into a precious hug and whispered a quick word into my ear, "This song is for you May. I know we won't be able to see eachother when I move to London, but I want to make one more promise before I leave. Promise me that we won't lose connection of eachother. Even if we may be miles away, just do whatever you could to call me and tell me you love me. That's all I want. You're the only person that could make me feel so much better in so many ways and it should always stay like that even if I become so famous that you don't even recognize me!" I spit out a giggle and he gently put his hand on the back of my head to his chest. "Don't forget me okay May? You're special to me and I never want you to meet someone you may think that deserves you. I deserve you, you deserve me." His eyes stared into mine with feeling and I couldn't imagine life without him. He's my one and only.

And if you're wondering, no Louis and I aren't dating. We talked about this a few months ago and I knew for sure he was going to get into the X Factor, so when he asked me to be his girlfriend when I was 13, I denied him and explained why. I love Louis, but I don't think it's the right time to date when he just got accepted into the X Factor.

As Louis finished his audition, he ran off the stage in excitement and picked me up by the waist and spun me around dizzily. "I told you there wasn't a doubt they would say no to you! Lou, you're amazing!" I squeeled and hugged his neck while letting a few tears slip out of my eye.

"Don't cry babe. Remember our promise?" He smirked and put me back onto my feet. I stood next to 12 year old Lottie and she smiled at me with her bright pink lips.

"I'm really going to miss you and the girls when you leave to go to London." I said to Lottie who looked sort of confused.

"Wait, what about Louis?"

"That's what I said right? Girl...."

When she finally caught up on what I was going with, she burst out laughing. "Oh my god! I have to tell Louis. Louis!!!! May-May called you a g-g-irl!" Lottie was laughing so hard she couldn't even talk correctly. I couldn't bare, but laugh with her.

"Oh so I'm a girl now huh May? Might as well bring out the tickle monster." He quirked up an eyebrow and slowly came towards me with a creepy face.

"No! I'm sorry! I didn't mean it! Don't hurt me! I'm too young to die! Mummy Jay! Help me! Your son is coming to eat me!" I squirmed around in Louis' grip and tried to escape, while calling for who I call my second 'mum'.

"Not so fast Miss May. You shall be punished!" He made his hand look like a claw and he dug into my sides.

"Please s-stop I'll make you a sandwich when we get home! You're killing me!" My laughter died out as he stopped and he waited for me to calm down.

"So, what kind of sandwich are you going to make me?" He flashed a cheeky grin and we started heading for the car that was parked by the side of the road since there wasn't any parking spaces left due to the so many contestants.

"Don't forget our friendship, our dumbness, our silliness, our nonsense, our old minds, and most important, don't ever forget our love. It's unique, you're unique." Louis whispered solemnly. We stayed in each others arms for what seemed like forever. This would probably be one of the last embrace we would have in a long time since he needed to focus long and hard about his upcoming career. No matter what, he'll always be my Louis.

"How could I forget all that? That's all I could remember." We looked into each others eyes like we were looking into the sky. Without notice, I felt Louis' gentle lips and mine. They had a peachy taste, and that's the way it always was. I could never deny one of his special kiss. They were definitely special.
