Phone call

Shima's pov

I got dressed in my suit and tie, making sure I had my briefcase with me and fixed my black hair. I headed out and sighed as I walked, making my way passed people and finally got to the subway and paid for my ticket and made it on the train. I stood there a few moments before others started to crowd their way in and soon there was no room left. I shifted to give other people room before I stood and held the bar above my head and the train doors closed and we were on our way. I felt like someone was watching me so I looked down and found a cute boy staring at me and chuckled softly. He looked away which I found cute as well. The train shifted and the boy stumbled. I reached out to catch him, my arm wrapping around his waist. He was skinny and didn't weigh much. He was frantic to stand back up and I smiled at him. He thanked me and I could tell he was flustered as he stuttered his words. But then he told me his name, Tsuki, his name was cute just like him. "Shima Nobuyuki." I said softly. He just blushed and I couldn't help but keep smiling. As the train came to my stop I gently leaned in and handed him a card with my number on it and the doors opened and I shuffled out, leaving the boy to wonder. I smirked as I made my way to work, walking in and sat down at my desk. I was quite content with how I left Tsuki with no more than my name and my number, I hopes he would call.

Tsuki's pov

As his deep voice echoed in my head over and over again, I stared at the card with his number. My face was completely red and I only looked up to watch him leave. I wanted to just call him immediately but I knew he didn't have the time. Plus it would make me seem really desperate. I stuffed the car into my shorts and sighed happily, finally making it to my stop and got off, making my way to the apartments where my mothers friend, the famous writer, lived. This was gonna be a boring day.

Several hours later
Tuski's pov

As I gathered my things I said my goodbye to Takumi-San and left, running to the subway station and quickly got on the train. I sighed. I was tired and couldn't wait to get home and eat moms cooking. I had almost forgot about Shima. I could feel my cheeks burning from smiling and looked down at my feet. I sighed before the train started moving. I wanted to call soon. May I could wait after dinner to talk to him in my room. Maybe we could go out for dinner one night? I groaned. He's probably way old and I'm only 18. I mean it's not wrong since I'm technically old enough.

Finally I got home and walked in "I'm home!" I said as I have look my shoes off and shuffled in, walking upstairs to my room and set my bag down before I set the card on my desk and set a book over it so mom didn't find it. I could hear moms voice "Dinners done sweetheart come eat!" My mouth was watering at the smell of fish and rice. I ran down stairs and smiled as I sat down. It was only me and mom, dad had died when I was 12 and mom didn't try and get remarried. It had crushed her and she didn't want to hurt like that ever again so she decided to raise me single handedly. I had a job to help out down at the continent store and I brought home groceries all the time. Mom worked at a bakery 45 minutes away and it paid evnought to get by. It was still hard. But we got through together. Mom suffered from frequent asthma attacks and it gets really bad when she's under stress. Sometimes she gets hospitalized but not for more than a day. But we're both happy to just have each other.

I finished eating and helped mom clean up before I went upstairs and started on some work for school. I looked at the card the man gave me and grabbed my phone before dialing the number and stared at the call button. I sighed and clicked it before holding the phone to my ear and listened to it ring before there was a voice on the other end.

"Hello?"
