Alex's POV

It had been a week since I had seen Alisa. I was expecting a knock at the door any minute now. Ross and Trott were in Alisa's room staring at the lime green walls. "Hello lads. The f*** you staring at?" I asked the two. White furniture filled the room. A bed was in the corner. I jumped as a loud knock came from the door. The three of us walked down stairs and reached the door. I opened it and grinned, but once again my smile faded. It looked like she had been crying.

"Hello Smith. I need to talk to you..." She looked at Ross and Trott who were behind me. "Alone." Her eyes were slightly red and tears stained her cheeks. And just like that her eyes watered and she whimpered.

"Alisa? What's wrong?" I asked pulling her into my arms. I could feel her squeeze me tight. I bit my lip as I looked at her neck. It was bruised badly. "I er... uh.." I stuttered. Alisa pulled away from me. She had a hurt expression on her face. "What happened?" I asked her leading her to the couch. The four of us sat down. Alisa was beside me, Ross and Trott were on the other side of her.

"I was in a car accident. I was driving mom and dad to the hospital and... and..." I could see her bite her lip.

"Why were you taking them there?" I asked stroking her soft orange hair.

"She was... well... Her water had broke. Dad was in the back with her and... We could've had another sibling but no. I decided to drive right into this stupid drunk!" She yelled at herself. I couldn't understand what she was going through. I couldn't imagine. "Do you think I'm crazy?" She asked.

"No. I don't think you're crazy. I think it's cool how you survived. I couldn't imagine not meeting you." I whispered. She put her head on my shoulder.

"Sure. That explains the s*** glare you gave me." She muttered. "And that's why people talk to me like I'm five. I'm f****** sixteen! I've been through a lot more s*** than they have. No one will ever understand." She yelled. I sat there in shock of what she had just said.

"Do we need to talk?" I asked her. She looked down at at her hands and shook her head.

"Do you have any beer?" She asked my lifting her head.

"Ya, why?"

"Give me one. Actually make it two."

"Aren't you a little young to drink?" I asked raising an eyebrow. She smirked.

"F*** it." I really did like her already.

Alisa's POV

After I was done getting wasted, I went upstairs and laid on my bed. I watched the ceiling carefully, studying every inch of it. I felt myself get tired and I fell asleep. I would never forget the dreams I had that night.

I heard yelling, screaming, shattering glass, and then I saw her. My mom. She was laying limp. She went pale. People tried doing CPR, but it wasn't working. All I could feel was pain. Physically and mentally. Metal crunched together. Suddenly a loud boom sounded. I felt a huge pain in my abdomen. I looked down to see blood pouring from the wound. I felt myself get dizzy and I fell to the ground, feeling the cold, hard concrete hit my body. I slowly closed my eyes as I was picked up from the ground.

"Mom!" I screamed clutching my head with my hands. I could feel warm tears streaming down my face. My door flew open to reveal Alex, Ross, and Trott.

"Ali? What's wrong, I heard you scream... mom?" Alex asked sitting next to me. I cried more letting all of my emotions wash over me.

"I miss her... Alex." I said trying to stop crying. I probably looked like a baby right now. He pulled me into a hug.

"Me too..." He choked. I felt myself getting tired. I closed my eyes and went to sleep again. It was in the past now.
