"My god, Danny can be so selfish sometimes." Summer groans as she rubs her temples.
"Oh, shut up Summer, he's so sweet to you. Get your head out of your ass and smell those goddamn roses he gets for you."
Danny Keller. Possibly the sweetest boy in the whole school. He has chestnut brown hair with silky brown eyes. His jawline was carved by god himself, I like to believe. Along with cute dimples when he smiles. He wears these amazingly hot glasses occasionally during school. But he wears contacts most of the time. He also plays the trumpet in the school band.
No, I don't like Danny (ok maybe a little.) I only know all of this because when my group of friends are hanging out somewhere, Danny and I end up as talking buddies. That's because nobody else includes us in the conversations. But once Summer realizes her stack of money is hanging around me, and is making me laugh, she gets defensive and accuses me of trying to steal her boyfriend. But who wouldn't want to steal a guy like him?
But the thing is, she's a slut and cheats on him when he's the most loyal guy you might possibly ever meet. I hope one day he finds out and dumps her right on the spot. He deserves someone who will make him happy and won't cheat on someone as amazing as him.
"Excuse me?" She spits at me as she gives her all too famous death glare.
"I'm just saying how I think it's funny you accuse Danny for being a selfish asshole when you use him for his money and don't get him anything in return. Not to mention how you cheat on him all the fucking time. I feel bad for how oblivious he is to your sluttiness." I tell her.
She gasps, "I would never cheat on Danny you little bitch. He's a sweet boyfriend who does everything I ask of him."
I scowl at her. Then standing up, I walk over to one of the football players in our grade. Matthew White, he's the linebacker and he's drop dead gorgeous. I grab his shirt and pull him with me over to our desk's.
"Who is this? Oh, hey Sadie"
I nod my head, "Hi, alright Matt, I have a question."
He shrugs, "Sure."
"Have you ever had sex with miss Hill?"
"Yeah, definitely." He says.
"Thanks Matt." I say as I pat his shoulder, sending him back to his desk. "I'm not an idiot Summer, I know what you do. Everyone does. I'm convinced that no one told Danny because we all know that he's been hurt like this before."
"He has?" She says, looking guilty.
"You're a slut and a dumbass." I mutter under my breath. "You don't know anything do you?"
"I didn't know he was cheated on before this! If I would've known that, I wouldn't be doing this."
"Oh shove it up your ass, Summer. You would still do this because you claim he doesn't satisfy you in bed."
"What are you talking about? He does too satisfy me." Summer scoffs.
"Then why do you sleep around with other guys?" I ask as I look down at her from the table.
"You do what?" I suddenly hear Danny's voice.
Summer immediately stands up and looks at Danny, "Hi, baby."
"Don't lie to me, Summer. What Sadie just said, is it true?"
"I love you Danny, you know that I-"
"Dammit Summer!" He whisper-shouts. "I don't want any of your bullshit anymore. Do you, or do you not, sleep around behind my back?" He asks sternly.
She starts crying as she reaches out to him. Saying incoherent words, I only hear her say 'I'm sorry' and 'I love you'. As she goes to hug him, he takes a step back and walks away.
"Danny!" She shouts as she falls to the ground on her knees and sobs hysterically.
I suddenly feel a pang of guilt hit me like someone just slapped me. I walk around the desks and crouch down to her.
"I'm sorry he had to find out that way." I tell her. "And I'm sorry for getting mad at you."
"This is all your fault." She cries.
"I know, and I completely understand if you hate me right now." I say as I sit down on the floor in front of her.
"He would've found out sooner or later. I shouldn't have done that to him. I'm such a bitch."
"You're not the only one."
The bell for next block rings and I sigh as I stand up and stick my hand out. Summer looks up at me before grabbing my hand and helping herself up. I give her a small smile, to which she returns, before I grab my shit and make my way to next block.
