-Louis POV-

I woke up the next morning to Harry holding me close and singing softly into my ear. "Good morning," he said after his song. "Good morning to you too, Haz," I said back, still half asleep.

"How'd you sleep?" he asked, pulling me closer. "Good, mostly because you were next to me." I answered, pecking him on the cheek. I slung my arm across his chest and buried my face into his neck.

We stayed like that for an hour until my phone rang. "Just ignore it," Harry told me as I checked to see who was calling. "I can't, it's management, I said, sighing and answering the call.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Louis. We're calling to tell you that you have an interview tonight with the boys. You have to be at the studio at 5:00 tonight."

"Alright, thanks for letting me know."

I hung up as Harry got up and started getting dressed, me doing the same shorty after.

"What'd they say?" he asked.

"They were telling us that we have an interview tonight. Gotta be there at 5:00." I answered as I pulled on a hoodie.

"Oh okay. You wanna get breakfast with the boys?"

"Yeah sure."

I texted Zayn, Niall, and Liam asking if they wanted to meet up, and they shortly answered with a "yes" from all three.

-Harry POV-

"Haz! Lou! Over here!" I heard Niall call from across the room. We spotted the three boys and walked over to them, hugging each other and saying our "hellos".

"We haven't seen you two since our last concert," Liam said.

"You two been keeping each other busy?" asked Niall, quietly but smugly. Harry smirked and looked at me, then laughed, followed by the rest of us.

We sat down at a table as a waitress took our orders and left quickly.

"So Louis, we saw you on the news last night," Zayn said. Louis looked down at the table and took a sip of his water.

"That was pretty brave of you, you know?"

No answer.

"C'mon Lou, you don't have to feel bad about it-"

"I don't feel bad and I don't care!" Louis yelled, slamming a fist against the table.

The whole diner went silent.

"Louis.." I said, but he was already getting up and walking outside of the building. I got up and chased him.

"Louis, wait!" I called after him. He stopped walking.

"Why'd you get so angry? It wasn't really a big deal, you know."

He sighed and said, "I just dont like talking about it, okay?"

"Why?" I asked.

"Because when I told the press that we were actually in a relationship, I finally told the truth but had to lie again by saying that wasn't true. And that was the hardest lie I've ever told. I hate lying to everyone, Harry. And I'm tired of it. I really am. And now it just makes me look down on myself even more because I lied and now people won't stop bothering me about it."

I sighed and looked him deep in the eyes. I could see tears forming in them. I felt tears forming in mine, too. I stared into his eyes some more. I always loved his eye color. They were as blue and clear as any lake or ocean, maybe even clearer and bluer. They always sparkled and glimmered when he laughed or smiled. I haven't seen that glimmer in his eye at all lately. I miss seeing that glimmer. That happy, cheerful glimmer. I mostly miss the cause of that glimmer. His smile.
