It had been 3 years since Remus discovered his feeling for Sirius,he had high hopes that his feelings for his best friend would subside but,as he had recently discovered they didn't. He still got that same buzz every time Sirius walked in the same room as him, every time he spoke his name,every time their hands accidentally brushed past each other, every time Sirius looked at him, every time they talked by the fire. Moony's feelings for Padfoot really hadn't gone away and it didn't look like they were going to either.

"Remus!" Sirius burst into the room," I need help! Your good at Defence Against the Dark Arts! What do I write about patronus ?"

"Calm it kermit! Just write what your patronus is so mines a (Remus rolled his eyes) wolf and write what that symbolises, so mine symbolises that I'll never be alone and I'll always be there to protect myself from danger, it shows I'm strong. Does that help?"

"Yes thank you Remus. I owe you one!" And with that Sirius had left the room.

Remus sighed. How he wished he could tell Sirius how he truly felt , but he couldn't, it would ruin their friendship if he did, Padfoot would never look at him again ,he would be able to forgive himself if that happened. Besides Sirius liked girls and that's exactly what Remus wasn't a girl.

--------6 hours later-----------------------

"I got full marks Remus " Sirius beamed.

"That's brilliant "

"All thanks to you Remus "
Remus smiled. It gave him joy to know that he had helped Sirius I'm such a way that he actually wanted to thank him for it. Remus knew exactly how he wanted Sirius to thank him. They'd go into that empty transfiguration classroom and Sirius would.... Remus snapped quickly out of his daydream then shook his head.No that was never going to happen...
