Kayla is gonna be played by Zonnique Pullins still. On to the story.

*Kayla's POV*

Chres has been here Friday and Saturday until my parents came home. I'm going to his house today, I just got home from church, so I need to head to the top of the road now.

"Mama, I'm going to hang out with some friends. I love you and I'll be back before eleven." I told my mom, kissing her cheek. She nods.

"Be careful, I love you too." She said.

I walked to the top of the road then got in Chres' car and turned to kiss his cheek.

"Good afternoon, love." Chres greeted, returning the favor. I smiled.

"Good afternoon." I greeted him. He pulled off and started driving.

"Is it cool if we just chill at my house?" Chres asked. I smiled again.

"It's cool with me." I told him.

"Did you eat?" He asked, taking my hand.

"No, but I'm fine." I answered.

"Yes, you are." He mumbled. I laughed and I swear he blushed.

"Thank you. You're not to bad yourself." I told him.

We pulled up at his house, which is amazing by the way. It's a two story house and it's huge. Chres got out of the car and walked to my side, opening the door and helping me out. I smiled and took his hand, letting him lead me into the house.

He went straight to the kitchen. "Help yourself, I'll be right back." Chres told me. He pecked my cheek and walked off. I looked in his fridge and got the apple juice. I then began my search for the cups.

"Chres, where's the cups?" I yelled. I felt a hand on my waist.

"I'm right here, and they're right there." He whispered, reaching up and grabbing one for me.

He set it on the counter and backed up. I smiled and poured me some.

"Thank you." I told him.

"I want you to meet someone, but you have to let me explain before you flip out on me." Chres informed me after he finished his drink.

He took my hand and led me to a room in his house, nervous as ever.

"Okay, remember, let me explain." He reminded me before opening the door.

The room was pink with white carpet. On the wall, all of the horses painted on the wall with the bed and all the Disney Princesses were painted on the opposite wall. There was a crib in the middle of the floor. It was a beautiful room, for a baby. (In the MM)

"So, almost a year ago, I had went to volunteer somewhere, and I decided to adopt and it took a few months, but I got a baby. She stays the weekends at my mom's that's why I get to hang out with you so much. Since last week was the first week of school, my mom watched her while I was at work. This week, I'll be taking her to the nursery the school has. I felt like I should tell you so you didn't think I lied to you. I am a virgin still." He explained, still nervous.

"Can I see her?" I asked. He nods and leads me to the crib. There was a baby, probably only four or five months. She was adorable and tiny.

"I'm actually proud of you. Not many single people adopt kids. I know it was probably hard." I told Chres. He smiled.

"Really? You're not mad?" He asked.

"No, what's her name?" I asked, looking back at the little baby. She was adorable.
