"Baby, I'm scared." I admitted, biting my lip. We were in currently in a stop light. Chres looked at me and placed his hand on my thigh, rubbing it soothingly.
"She'll love you. Don't worry, baby girl. You like me and you love Bella. There's nothing for her to dislike." He assured me. I looked at him, still biting my lip. "Don't do that. Come here and give me a kiss before this light turns green." He added, flashing his eyes at the light. I smiled and pecked his lips. He checked the light quickly. "That wasn't a kiss."
I leaned over and kissed his lips slowly. He smiled and kissed back. When we heard a cars moving we pulled away. Chres put his hand back on my thigh and continued to rub it soothingly. I smiled and let him, it isn't like he's at the top of my leg, he's toward my knee.
"You ready, baby?" Chres asked. I nod, looking at him. He leaned in and kissed me quickly. He bit my lip softly before pulling away. "She's gonna love you." He assured me.
Chres got out and walked around, opening my door. He helped me out and then took Bella out of her carseat and carried her. He held one of my hands with his only free hand. I smiled and followed him as he led me to the house.
"Will you open the door?" He asked, not letting my hand go. I opened the door and he stepped inside and led me to the living room after closing the door.
"Momma! We're here!" Chres yelled, sitting on the couch and pulling me down with him.
"Boy, if you don't quit yelling in my house!" She yelled back. Chres chuckled and apologized.
Then a woman came into the living room. She was short, maybe five feet and an inch or two. That was very short compared to Chres' almost six feet. I was five feet and six inches, so I was also taller. Chres stood up and embraced her in a hug. He gestured for me to come over, so I did.
"Momma, this is my girlfriend, Kayla. Kayla, this is my mom, Cindy." Chres introduced. Momma pulled me into a hug and then stepped back and examined me.
"Well, you look like a nice girl, unlike the last one. What's her name? Hoe-nae? Or no it was Elizabitch? I didn't like her Chresanto." His mother said. I giggled at the names she said. Chres gasped a little.
"Momma, language." He said, holding Bella's ears. His mother waved him off.
"I'm complimenting your girlfriend." She said. "You're prettier than Chres had told me." She told me. I blushed and so did Chres.
"Thank you, ma'am." I thanked her. She smiled.
"Oh, and she's respectful. Chres, you better hold onto this one." She told Chres. "Call me, 'momma.'" She told me.
"Okay." I said. Chres was a little red still.
"Oh, I'm embarrassing him." His mom cooed, pinching his cheeks. Chres moved away and asked his mom,
"Where's dad?"
"Honey, Chres and his girlfriend are here!" Momma yelled.
A man, a little taller than Chres entered the room. Chres hugged him and said, "Hey, dad."
"Hey, Chres. You must be Kayla." He greeted back.
"Yes, sir." I told him.
"Isn't she beautiful Jonathan?" His mom asked his dad, standing beside him. Chres pulled me beside him.
"She is. Just like Chres told us." He agreed, also making Chres blush again.
"Okay, that's enough about that. Baby, will you hold Bella while I go get her diaper bag?" Chres asked me. I nod and he places Bella in my arms. He pecked my cheek and Bella's forehead before leaving the house.
