Gina's POV:
The closer and closer Halloween gets the more anxious and scared I am becoming for my safety and my mums safety as well. I'm staying over Britt's house for a sleepover. A ten day sleepover. I'm sure I'll be safe there. I'm pretty sure he won't go door knocking on everyone's house just to find me.
I was reading The diamond bookcase when my phone went off. I checked it and it was a text from Britt.
#hey I was just wondering if you are okay because you been kinda distant the past two weeks#
Oh great they've notice a change in my behaviour. Damn I thought they wouldn't notice. I was hoping they didn't notice.
#hey, yeah I'm fine I feel like my self the quiet yet crazy person I am.#
I really hope she doesn't text back because I don't feel like talking to anyone.
#okay if you need anyone to talk to you know that I'm right here.#

I feel kinda bad for not telling them the real reason why I've been acting a little off. But I don't want to. I don't want them to worry about me. And plus I don't want them to get hurt.
