When we got back to the house Alex was watching the news, Jack was taking stupid, funny pictures and Rian was eatting a sandwich. I walked in, carrying Chloe's car seat, and Zack was carrying some other stuff we got at my house, "Its a baby!" Zack yelled, casuing Chloe to cry, I glared.
"Good job, Einstein!" I hissed, picking her up swiftly.
"Sorry, I can get her to quiet down if you want." Zack took her out of my arms and rocked her back and forth while humming to her. By then all the guys had turned around and were gawking over where we were standing, Alex came and stood still beside me. "Hey, little one." Zack looked huge next to Chloe, she was small to begin with, but with big muscular Zack looming over her she looked 10 times smaller than normal. "She looks just like you." Zack laughed after she had stopped crying.
"Ha, that's what I used to think, but she could easily be mistakened for yours, she looks nothing like me, beside her nose." As if on que she wrinkled her nose like a puppy.
"Oh, yeah, she's gotten that down." Alex said, nodding while staring in amazement. "Just like her mommy..." Alex said, looking at me with this... look, I felt a small pang inside my chest. I looked at Chloe, the eyes I thought were mine, because of the green were actually his eyes, not mine.
"Yeah, she could be mistaken for mine, ha, this is sure to create controversy." Zack laughed, as Jack awed.
"Y'all can't take people that you've kidnapped outside, dummies." I told him, and slapped the back of his head and took Chloe back.
"Hey..." Alex said shyly, I looked up at him. "May I...?"
"Yeah, sure just don't drop her, 'kay?"
"I know how to hold babies, thank you." I handed her to him gently, I think guys melt with a baby girl in their hands, because Alex totally looked like a teddy bear in that moment.
"Aw, she's so cute, she does look like you though." He said, she cooed up at him. "I love this little girl!" He said, I laughed.
"Ya, me too." I smiled and leaned onto Alex to get a better view of Chloe, he looked down at me and smiled.
