Ch.6 Run!

"Wow" I say admiring the place surrounding me.

I slowly turn around checking every single detail. No flaws. No mistakes. It like.... heaven. Everything is beautiful. It smells clean and fresh. And the sound of the trees breathing and branches moving brings life to this place. The sound is just, peaceful. I look at the magenta flowers that lay on the ground not touched. They look brand new. The fresh air hitting my skin which gives me shivers. I didn't care if I had shorts and a muscle shirt, this felt good. Realizing that Blaise has been standing in back of me the whole moment, I quickly turn around. He is just smirking and giving me that look.

"This is...."

"Beautiful." I says more like a statement than a question.

"Yes." I breathe out.

He takes some steps close to me but I don't move back. I just look at his every movement. When he gets too close for my liking, which I don't mind, I look down to hide a blush creeping up to my face. He doesn't move nor make a noise. If he even breathing? I look back up seeing him looking at something in back of me. I furrow my eyebrows and turn around. I suddenly see that the sun was already 10 seconds to disappear. I suddenly lean back feeling his hard chest. I was about to move to the front but he takes hold of my forearms and puts me back in place. His hands slide to my hands until I find him playing with my fingers. We both stare at the sunset silent, letting every moment be appreciated and loved.

When the sun disappears, I close my eyes and sigh heavily.

"So what was this?" I ask breaking the silence.

"This...." He lets me go and walks in front of my cupping my face with one hand while the other is still holding my hands. "Is We." He simply says before jogging into the forest.

"Hey! That didn't answer my question!" I yell running after him and laughing at the same time.

Now we start the chasing again. At least I could see him, where he was running and where he was going. I chase after him until I appear at a beach. My mouth is left a gap while sprinting now. I walk on the soft sand that runs between my fingers every time I make a step. The waves splash onto each other and retreat. I find Blaise looking at me again before sighing and laughing to himself while looking down and covering his face with one hand.

"What?" I had the courage to ask.

He smiles one more time and looks up at me. He looks a what I think is my feet and then back to my eyes.

"You found me."

"Well yeah I know. I didn't lose sight of you."

"You found me. And you don't lose sight of me. Protective much?" He teases.

I chuckle.

"You know I didn't mean it that way." I smirk at him.

"You know what I mean now."

I look at the sand that cover my feet. Suddenly I find myself walking towards Blaise. Slowly, expecting him to stop me. When I'm finally one foot away from him, I have the courage to look up to see him staring at me intently. Cautiously, like if he knew I was going to attack... but I'm not. His face seemed serious and a bit mysterious. Is there something he's trying to say?

"Why?" He finally breathes out.

"Why what?"

"How?" I give him a confused.

He glances at the sky. Smiles. Then looks back at me. Before I can even pay attention to what just happened, he grabs me by the waist and pulls me smashing our lips together. We didn't start making out but we just felt our lips together. I started moving my lips which caused him to do it too. We kissed slowly, valuing every second.
