Ch.7 Mistake or Accident?

I run after Blaise once again trying to catch up. Oh my, he should be a runner. As, I was about to catch up, I suddenly fall and my head lands on something hard. The impact on my head was so bad I quickly felt hot liquid running down my head onto my shoulder fast. I rubbed it off but it kept falling. I stood up but then a shock of pain appeared on my knee as i fell again. I hold on to it really tight trying to sense the pain away but it didn't leave. I tear fell from my eye and my vision started getting blurry.

No! Mary. You need to keep running. You can't get in more trouble anymore. If they catch you out here alone, since Blaise is not here, you will probably have to leave this place. Things need to be done right so now get up and run and don't look back. Don't get caught. Don't let him get caught.

Now I was confused. Was my mind telling me to not get caught out here in the woods when I actually should be on campus or is it telling me to not let Blaise and me get caught..... together?

I stand up and try holding my weight on my left leg since my right one is not helping at all. Before I could step even further, someone picks me up bridal style. I look up to see Blaise with a smile but you could tell he was worried about something. We're they close? I decided to stay quiet and just look at him. He was staring down at me. He quickly looked away and hold on really tight to me like if I was going to fall. Confused I was until he started running. He ran really fast that it literally felt like I was on some bicycle or skateboard down hill. I felt the air hit my back which made me shiver non-stop. Suddenly he stops running and it all becomes warm and smells like candles and wood. I open my eyes only to see his chest, with a shirt obviously.

"Mary." He whispers really close to my ear. I loved the feeling that his voice gave me when it says my name. "C'mon Mary.... MaryJane."

I decided to ignore him and fake my sleep, or unconsciousness. I doubt it was a good idea though because I feel him sit down with me still wrapped by his arms, and his breath hitting my face warming me up even more. I felt his face really close to mine but I ignored the sensation or else I would've smiled. He suddenly starts tickling my chin with his index finger as if I was a baby. I kept in the giggle that was pleading to get out. Sadly, the sides of my lips lid up and I just knew that he notice. At that very moment he scoffed playfully and moved his hand to my cheek as he started talking.

"So if the princess doesn't wake up," Princess? "I will have to end this story as it shall always end. The the prince...." Oh no. "...kissing... " Uhhh. "The princess."

He finally states. I couldn't resist so I let out a really silent giggle and smiled so he would notice I was awake. I didn't think he cared because his lips started sliding on mine. He didn't kiss me, he was just teasing me. As I didn't feel his lips anymore, I opened my eyes to find him grinning at me. How ridiculous did I look? I wanted to ask him. As I start blushing, I move a hand to my face to cover up but he quickly wraps his arms around me so I wouldn't be able to move. I stop moving and look up at him. I decided to play his game.

"So prince, why aren't you releasing me?" I ask trying to make him blush which I don't succeed. He just down at me. Why does he look at me a lot?

"Why should I?" He asks with a husky voice that just makes my blushing worse.

"Ummm because I... Have a cut? Yes. Yes! I have a cut!" I say sitting up and pointing at it with one finger while my other hand balances me on the.... bed?

"Oh yeah, let me get that cleaned. And don't move." He stand up and walks to a little room which I assume is the restroom. "You have a big bruise on your right knee and adding force to it wouldn't make it better." He disappears in the room.
