Here are tips to so you can survive, and maybe even start thriving in that one really tough class (for me in high school it was algebra):
*Get all the extra credit problems you can done to improve your grade in the class when they are offered.
*Ask the class teacher for help.
*Don't worry about whether your question is too basic or "stupid" in class-just ask it! Engage in class discussions to increase your understanding of concepts.
*Find a friend or someone you know that can help you in the subject. You might have a friend, classmate, sibling or even ask your teacher for help in the class if they are good in the subject.
* After finding someone to help you, reguarly meet with them for tutoring and/or review sessions. Get serious about improving your grade and become dedicated at doing it :)
*Study the subject with someone or on your own, reviewing concepts that you have trouble with. Make an effort to understand what you're misunderstanding in class. Spend some of your free time really working hard at it.
*Spend extra quality studying time for the class. The key word here is quality-most student already study for their classes to some extent, but his you study is just as important as doing it. To more effectively study, try some of the following:
-avoid multi-tasking
-turn off phone and avoid browsing the internet
-find a quiet and comfortable place to do your studying
-highlight key information when note-taking*A lot of times you can find and review concepts online with free resources.
*Pray to God for understanding in the class!
