Self-confidence is very important in high school; unfortunately, your time in high school may very well be when you find yourself the least confident.
If you are not confident in who you are and all the possibilities that come from being you, its hard to be your best and happiest self. I am not saying you should be prideful or vain. But you do need to remember:
God loves you-very much. He created you as a very special person with many unique gifts and talents.
You're beautiful. Whether you realize it or not, you truly, impeccably and wonderfully are just that. God didn't create you to doubt yourself, physically or otherwise.
Believe in yourself. Look at who you are and examine what makes you, you. What are you abilities? Aspirations? Hopes? What are you working towards? Trying to be? I can bet that everything you're answering to those questions says a lot of good about you.
God created you with many talents and gifts that are uniquely yours. Always support your friends and help them boost their confidence by reminding them they are too very beautiful, unique and loved as well.
There may be a lot of times when you will not feel confident of yourself at all-that's when you especially need to remind yourself the reasons for how important self-confidence really is. It is so important, and for a host of different reasons I'm only touching on today.
To work your best in high school, you need to believe in yourself and tell yourself you can do this. You will not be able to work towards what you aspire and set goals for unless you honestly believe that you, yourself, can do great things. Believing you can do great things comes from illuminating self-confidence, no matter who you are.
Believe in yourself and encourage others to live their dreams and believe in themselves, too.
