"Miku?" an alluring voice echoed, it was fuzzy and Miku couldn't concentrate on her wonderful dream she was having, she groaned and pulled the covers over her shivering body more, but felt a wave of the cold night brushed against her skin when the blankets were pulled off her body, "Miku!" her name was repeated once again, but Miku couldn't help but hint there was a slight bounce of annoyance in the voice's cry.
She cracked her crusty eyes open and took time to rub it away, "O mum, please stop waking me! I was having the loveliest of dreams.." she muttered, trying to keep her green eyes open, but found herself dazing off once more, she turned to the side and jumped, not expecting to be staring into curious blue orbs.
"L...Len? Oh my goodness!" her body jerked up, causing her ribs to ache and she clutched them in pain groaning all the while, Len stifled a laugh and tried to look his best convincing that he was feeling pitiful for the girl laying in bed. When her hurting body lessened it's tensed state, she looked up at him and tried her best not to pull anymore healing muscles, "That means this wasn't a dream,.. I'm really here, Neverland!" she remarked rather loudly, earning a low, lazy grunt from Dell, who was sleeping on Piko in the corner of the room, on their own little kind of beds, having animal skins and furs (like the one she lay in) as blankets and sheets, they all piled up one another and she giggled at how cute they all looked, sleeping on one another to get comfortable.
The Pan put his finger to his mouth and a hushed noise slipped past his lips, "Don't want to wake them," he warned, Len cleared his throat and sat on the edge of the bed next to her, "Of course this isn't a dream, unless,.. you want it to be?" he questioned the teen, and she gave him a puzzled look.
"Does that mean, this could be a dream?" she asked, her expression changed to one of a terrified look, her eyes filled with worry, and her body shaking as she was slowly losing hope. Heck, she would even try to pinch herself to see if she'd wake up, but if this was a dream, she most definitely didn't want to wake up from it anytime soon, and so she didn't take the risk.
"Unless you don't want it to be." he said, rubbing his chin, and then his left leg swung over his right, and his right over his left, and now he had a queer look, a look of in deep thought, Miku shot him a look of frustration, his words made no since! She couldn't fit the puzzle pieces together.
"Len! Please tell me this isn't a dream!" she entreated a cry, Len turned his head to face her, he flashed an apologetic smile towards the tealette, she knitted her thin brows together.
"So it is?" Miku mumbled, looking down sadly. He sighed, the blonde really didn't know how to explain the situation to the poor girl, for he was just a boy. (Note that a man isn't a teen, though they are usually mistaken as a man already, they are still boys. If you are 18 going on 19 you are a man! :D)
Len shook his head, "No, not necessarily, I took you here you see? Remember when I told you about how I stayed at your window to hear stories about the adventures of my eldest brother?" Miku nodded at the boy, "Well you see, Neverland is connected to you already, once you believe in Neverland, once you truly believe in me, then you're connected to it by feeling. You and I are connected, in mind I can tell what you are feeling, and how strong your connection is to me and Neverland. If it wavers, then it means something bad is happening, such as: your love and beliefs of childhood fun is dying out, or in rare occasions, your life source. When I found you that one night, I felt a strange waver, when I crashed into your window in panic, I found you nearly dead..." he slowly trailed off, and for once, she thought she saw fear flicker in those blue eyes of bravery.
Miku's head lowered in shame, yes, she probably really was going to die. If not Len had come to save her at that desperate time of need, she wouldn't be here right now.
