Miku awoke groggily wiping her crusty eyes, she gasped and lifted a hand to shield her hand from the torturous sun rays that seeped through a small strip of a leather whose string that held it to another piece had came lose overnight. Her vision became much clearer after a while and she her eyes scanned her surroundings. She appeared to be laying in animal skins sewed together to create a soft blanket, and a large leather tent enveloped her from the outside land. She got up and dusted her dress, making her hair and self look presentable as much as she could, (for Miku will always, and forever be a lady of society, even if she is in Neverland) and opened the tent's flap.
It took her a while to figure out where she was exactly, then she remembered last night's events, they were at a bonfire, feasting with loud and festive indians, and oh! She had met a princess! The Fire Princess! How wonderful that was. Suddenly a wave of excitement washed over her. She was in Neverland! Where children could laugh and play however and whenever they want!
Then a realization hit her hard, she was not a child, in fact more like a seventeen year old who is a bride to be for a merciless pirate man. Her smile turned into a large frown, Miku then gasped. She just remembered something.
She wanted to know the truth, the teal head started to run to find Len. It wasn't a while till she found him near a small stream not far from the Indian village, he sat in between thick, twisting branches of a tree. Len was playing his Pan Pipes so peacefully, Miku found herself in a trance and almost forgot what she wanted to ask him.
"Len!" he snapped open his eyes and played a wrong note. He stared down at her and smiled, "G'morning M'lady." he greeted kindly. Miku looked at him and furrowed her brows, "Father, get down here. Mother needs to talk to you."
He tilted his head, Len was intrigued by this. Her tone sounded serious, and he curiously floated down but refused to hit the ground. Instead he sprawled and stretched in the air, he lay on his back and listened carefully, which impressed Miku entirely, "Yes mother?" he grinned.
She gulped, "Len how old are you?" Len looked at her confused, but he answered, "I dunno." he lied. She lifted a brow, Miku began to inspect his body, she made sure to catch how tall he looked, how built he was, nothing compared to a little boy's built. "Tell the truth!" she begged him, he turned his head, finding his only a few centimeters away from her own.
"The truth?" Len questioned, he sighed, he did not enjoy this. This conversation was anything but fun, "The truth is Neverland is losing it's magic. You see, when I was a little boy everyone believed in it. Every little girl and boy all believed in me, no matter how small or big, there's still that little part of you that wants adventure and wants to stay young forever." he closed his eyes, she just stared at Len shocked. "But over the years of being a little boy, I one day began to grow. I couldn't understand it, I denied it when the Lost Boys questioned the growing spurt I had. I started to head over to reality to find out exactly what was happening, eventually I found your generation nowadays don't believe in 'Fairytales' they're more into growing up and getting new responsibilities like their parents." Miku was now sitting on a stump and he turned his body to lay on his stomach, he propped his chin on his flat hands in the air and stared at her expression. It changed from shocked to sadness, he frowned and continued his story.
"But one day, when I looked about the age of a 12 year old, I had felt a strong presence that believed so sincerely. I curiously followed it, and it lead to an open window." he smiled, staring at nothing particular, "I found a young girl staring at the starry sky, she had large green eyes that seemed to sparkle, as if she was searching for something. I found myself attracted to this window every night, that was when you began telling stories of a boy named Peter Pan." she gasped, the little girl in his story was herself?
"I thought she was an awfully pretty girl, I had never seen one before. She brought me hope, but one day you stopped telling stories, you frowned more often, then it turned into everyday. Yet you still believed strongly in me, so I continued to visit you just in case you began to tell stories and smile again. The day I found you were hurt..." Miku's green eyes watered, she sniffled and wiped her tears away, but they just kept coming.
Someone actually cared for her? Not for riches, money, reputation, but her. "So you see Miku, since I'm growing, I wanted to at least talk to you, instead when I found you hurt, bruised and cuts all over, I immediately rushed you over to Neverland." Len sheepishly scratched the back of his neck.
"I brought you over to the healing waters, after your cuts dried up the waters cleaned them, after that me and the Lost Boys tried our best to stitch them up..." he grabbed her wrists gently and started to rub them soothingly. Surprisingly it didn't hurt.
"Come on then, we should be heading back, the Lost Boys might get wild if we don't head to the hideout soon." He began to walk in front of her, back turned. Then he stopped, "Miku,... I hope you don't think of me as a weird person now... just know that I'm here for you, I always was... so please don't leave.. not yet.. not when I need you most." He then turned, and Miku saw not a boy, but the seriousness of a man. It was then she understood, for she let fate take the wheel, and this is where it brought her. It was her turn to steer herself in the right direction.
They flew back, she rode on Len's back as he soar through the air, and no words were spoken. Yet they knew, nothing has changed between them. Not yet,.. at least.

a/n: Short I suppose, but I updated. I'm still in hiatus for the New Years, I'll try and get back on as soon as I can. Right now it's really hard to write, because I'm sick and I have on and off fevers. Thank god I could at least finish this chapter this weekend! Alright, till next update,
