"You look beautiful honey." Mom told me and hug me tight. I look at myself in the mirror with horror.
" Mom I look like a candle."
I was wearing a white flowy gown with a silver cross strap that embraces my neck. It flows freely towards my 2 inches black heels.
I hate this kind of fashion and my mom happens to be a fashion designer.
"Yeah mom. Cassy looks ugly." Well there goes your ugly twin brother for you to cheer you up.
"That goes for you too Carl." I throw my hand on his face and he smack it like its some kind of bacteria.
He tried to grab my hand but mom stopped him. I stuck my tongue out and gave him a playful smile.
"You two are already 17, stop acting like 5. Now that you're all set, lets go see dad."
"Richard ! " mom called out. I thought we were going to see him? Well there goes my mom for you.
"Yes Baby?" Dad entered my room holding a cup of black coffee and a newspaper on his armpit.
He looks at me like I'm the most precious gem he has.
"You are so beautiful Cassy."
"Thank you dad." I said blushing. He always tells me that.
"Does she really have to meet that boy? " Dad complained. Yeah dad tell her.
"Well of course. She really needs to have a boyfriend. Its been 2 years."
I frown at the memory 2 years ago.
Carl must have noticed it and changed the topic."Okay my dear parents. She'll be late. You dont want to waste mom's master piece do you? " he said masterpiece with disgust.
I pinch his nose and run towards the stairs. Yeah. I run wearing heels. I'm kind of used to it with all this dates and meet ups that mom has planned 2 weeks ago.
First 2 weeks of blind dates was I've met a nerd that keeps on talking about history and science.A badass guy that brought a girlfriend with him on our date and a foreigner whom i can't understand.
I want to end this but I wont let my parents down. I know that they're only doing this to keep my mind busy and to have fun sometimes.
I walk to our door and my mom and dad wished me luck. Yeah i need those.
"I can't believe you're doing this. Again." Carl hissed as he opened the car door.Mom asked him to drive.
We might fight a lot but he doesn't want me spending time with some random guy on a fancy restaurant.
" I cant believe you're driving me there for the first time in two weeks." I laughed a little knowing he hates driving more than I do.
We always thought of it as tiring and a waste of time. We rather walked to school togethere or ride a bus. We're weird.I know. But awesome weirdos.
"Shut up. "
He start the engine and drive me to the venue. Just as the traffic light turns red, rain poured down. I smiled at it while flowing down the car window. I always loved the rain. It makes me relax and it soothes my inside. It helps me think.
