You did this to us! This is your fault!

The voices of her lost brothers echoed inside Ariels head as she slowly began to wake up.
As her green eyes slowly fluttered open, she noticed a familiar face sitting next to her. Bobby.

She looked around, still trying to make sense of where she was, when she felt a hand on her shoulder, and a raspy voice.
"You need to rest." It said.
Thoughts began rushing through her head.

Where am I? Am I dead? I think im dead....!

"How is she?" Bobby said to Castiel, who was apparently seated across from Ariel.
"I don't have words for this, it's so rare that anything like this happened, but, when she was out in the storm, her soul froze, its gone. And, she's mute. The cold not only had an impact on her soul, it had a major impact on her vocals as well. She may end up being mute permanently." He sighed sadly.
Wait, mute?!
Ariel tried to speak, but it came out as a soft whimper.

Bobby placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to stop her.
Eventually, pain made her stop.
"Ariel, you can't speak, if you ever want your voice back, I advise against it." Castiel stated firmly.
Instead of objecting, Ariel nodded, and stopped trying to speak

Well, this sucks.

She flopped back into the chair, staring at the ceiling.
She had to find a way to fix this, and fast.
