Omgg! I can't believe it!! Amirs parents came with a proposal??? Am I dreaming???? Me and amir will never go together. I know I find him good looking but he is a player. I don't want to get married to someone who touches girls before marriage. I just don't understand why he would like me. I am not his type. I pray 5 times a day and read the Quran whilst he hangs around with girls and smokes.
"Allah, why him, why couldn't it be someone else?"

The next day....

"Fatima, I'll finish making the deserts. You go and get ready, your in-laws to be will be coming soon" she said while laughing.
"Haha, soo funny mama" I said sarcasticly.
I went upstairs and got ready, I wore a black dress which had white designs on top of it. I wore a black hijab and I wore some makeup, eyeliner, mascara and a dark nude lip. Nude lipsticks are my fav, they're soo beautiful.

I heard knocks on the front door and my heart was beating really fast. Amaan opened the door and said "asalamualikum"
"Walaikumsalam"
"Come in" Amaan said.
While my parents were greeting them, I was with bhabi.
"Our little Fatima is growing up so fast."
"Bhabi, I don't want to get married to him, I told you before that he had lots of girlfriends and he is just not right for me"
"Fatima I know he is a bad person, but you can make him a better person. Allah has planned this for you and you should be happy. He really likes you, so you should give him a chance."
"Ahh... You know what bhabi you are right, I should give him a chance. Thank you soo much!"
"Aww, your welcome"
Bhabi gives me a big hug and then amaan comes in and says that my 'in-laws' are calling me.
"I'm not married to him yet so it doesn't make them my in laws" I said angrily
Bhabi and amaan started to laugh at me.
OK, enough laughing, come on let's go downstairs said amaan.

As soon as I went downstairs my heart was beating so fast. Amirs green eyes were staring right at me, I was looking back at him and then I looked down at the floor.
"Asalamualaikum" I said
"Walaikumsalam, come and sit down with us"
I was walking towards the sofa and I sat down.
"How are you beta?"
"I'm good alhamdulilah"
"How are you" I said
"We're good alhamdulilah"
"So, what do you do for a living?"
"I don't work at the moment, but I am studying. My dream is to become a doctor inshallah.
"Oh OK, that's good"
"Tell us more about yourself"
I was telling them things about myself and then I finished.
"Fatima go and talk to Amir and get to know him better" aunty said.
Amir and I got up and we went to an empty room.
"Sooo.... Fatima, how are u?"
"Yes, I'm good alhamdulilah, how are you?"
"I'm alright"
"So, tell me what your dislikes and likes are."
I was looking down because I was shy to look up. Amir came close to me and he lifted my chin up and said "babes, you don't have to be shy, come on just look up."
I looked up and he smiled at me and I was blushing a lot.
"So come on tell me about yourself"
"I love praying and reading the quran, it refreshes my mind. Also I love pizza, its my fav! I like watching movies and going shopping. I don't like sports, if I play any kind of sports it makes me sweat, yuck! Yeah that's baiscally it. "
"Why don't you tell me about yourself" I said.
"I don't read the Quran or pray. I love going out and hanging with my friends also I love junk food!"
He was being truthfull when he said he doesn't read the Quran or pray. I was happy that he said the truth, at least I won't have a husband who lies to me.
But I will have to try my best to make him a better Muslim.
My brother amaan came in.
"Are you two love birds done talking" amaan said while he was laughing like a cow.
Amir smirked.
"Shut up amaan!" I shouted.

We went back to the sitting room and my mum called me to lay out the table. I served the food and after they were finished eating, my parents were talking to aunty and uncle and finally they got up after a long talk. We all salamed them and they left.
