Someday I want to own a horse and be able to compete in competitions, but right now that's not happening. I woke up to go to school and got ready to catch the bus. I could only think of one thing, my riding lesson on Sunday. I was watching a tv show on my iPod, on the bus because I hated the fact of seating in a bus for one hour. It drove me crazy with no friends to talk to. Once I got to school I went to English class and wrote a short story and then I went to French and did a verb quiz. At lunch, I sat with my friends that were always on their phones talking to people other than the people in front of them. I hated seating with them, so I went to find my other friend whom is the best friend in the world. She actually acknowledges my presence and because she knows I'm in front of her, she doesn't text people all lunch. Yes, she will text people but not all lunch time like my other friends. Grace and I went to outside to get way from all the noise in the cafeteria. We went to the park beside the school and played on the play structures. It was 12:40 before we started walking back to school to go to our next two classes. I went to math class and we practiced our inequalities for the test next class. Then I went to science. My teacher was absent and we had Mrs.Caliber has our substitute teacher. She's one of those teachers that make everything boring. My class literally sat for 45 minutes correcting workbook pages but her voice is what made it unpleasant. Her voice is always the same and it's dull. Then the telephone rings and she goes to answer. Once she gets off the phone she says,"Amy go the reception area with all your belongings." I go to get my school bag and homework, then I go upstairs to reception. I had no idea why I was leaving school. I see my parents waiting for me and then I get into the car.
"Mom, dad why are my cowboy boots in the car?", I asked.
"I guess you forgot to bring them in last time you had a lesson", they replied.
I was sure I was wearing them in the car and took them off in the house but I believed them. We pass my house and I have no idea why we're not stopping at home. We're about half way from where I go for my riding lesson and then I start thinking, do I have a surprise lesson today?
"Amy we've been thinking about getting a horse, but we want you to be honest with us. You can ride her and tell us if you love her. She's not completely broken. You'll have to train her to do canter and gallop."
