Chapter 5

Sonatas's POV

As I carried my bags to my room I wondered, were we the Dazzlings anymore? I felt some feeling that I was making a mistake. But what was it? "Sona!" Mom called. I rushed downstairs to the living room. The whole group was there. They all were looking at a sheet saying " The Quartz". "We want to make a group for Crystal Prep to play against Canterlot, and wanted to know if you wanted to join,"Thunder explained. Sonata froze. It was them, or The Dazzlings. Arias text repeated in her mind. Aria and Adagio never really appreciated her as much as her mom did. "I..........I'll join,"Sonata answered. She grabbed the sheet and signed it. "So when's the next concert? "Sonata asked. " Next week, we'll be fighting the Rainbooms,"DJ replied. "We'll need the pendants! Wait.......aren't most of the members gone?" Sonata asked. "Which is why the made these," Writting pulled out a basket full of 6 jars. "What does that do?" It'll get the Rainbooms back on stage.

Next week

We were next, and the Rainbooms saw the pendants we wore. Which of Course they were suspicious about. We walked on stage as the spot lights turned off, only the main light was on. I was nervous, but the group was bigger now. I saw Twilight and the rest of them up hill. We were going to play a song we made through the week before

As we sang everyone was under our spell, that's when Twilight interrupted the song with the same song they used before. "(Insert random song here haha I cant make songs only music) We all sang, as our sirens appeared and attacked the Rainbooms. Twilight was being pushed back from the force, and it seemed to all be a replay of what happened before. But this time, it was better. Sunset was knocked over and crashed into the DJ, breaking it ruining their music. "Destroy or defeat?"I asked. "Defeat"Thunder answered. The song ended, as the Rainbooms forgot about the battle, and thought we just participated for no reason.  Although one thing they were wondering about, their power. Some of its been drained out. 

When I got home, I tried singing one of my favorites songs. "Now you know the real me-"I sang in a much more beautiful voice. I realized that we took some of their power. I never knew sirens could do that, what a surprise.  I read a book from Equestria about Sirens. "Beautiful creatures that have an amazing voice that can control ponies or any other creatures. They were famous for stealing bits of power. Once they collected enough they could-" Sonata was interrupted by DJ calling her.

"What?"Sonata asked, walking to her. "DJ?" Sonata called, walking into a dark room. The lights turned on as a display of what seemed like elements. All of the elements seemed to be like the elements of Harmony but, the opposite."Dishonesty-Chrysa, Rudeness- Thunder, Silence-DJ, Magic-Rose- Betrayal- Sonata,"Sonata read out loud. "Sona?" DJ stepped into the room. "What are these?" I asked. "We have elements. We tried to protect then so nobody will know"DJ lied. I then said, "Oh. Well you see-" "You already played your element. We know. " DJ closed the glass case." Right" I said.

I bowed my head and thought about Aria and Adagio. They nearly died in a fire, was betrayed by their own sisters, and who know what now.

"I need to go," I said quietly.

"What? You need to stay! You see we have to-"

"Find my sisters."

"WHAT NO SONATA!" DJ shouted.

"Tell my mother, that I beg her pardon."

"YoUr NoT gOiNg AnYwHeRe!" A creepy dark voice laughed.

I turned around to face the monster DJ was.

"I killed innocent just to get you here now Sonata!" She said.

DJ had bone wings sprouting out of her back and bandages decorating her body.Hiding all the wounds she ever faced.

"WE set your house aflame! WE NEED YOU SONATA!"

"No...please no."

"Without you the elements wont work!"

"PLEASE!"

"Then we cant destroy Equestria. We can't destroy this world. We can't open NEW portals, we cant take the power of each living being in each world!"

"I don't want to destroy Equestria! I stayed with Aria and Adagio because I love them, and they loved me, but now its different!"

My steady flow of tears created a puddle on the floor, as DJ watched with no mercy.

"You broke us apart,"  I suddenly grew quiet, "You ruined everything."

DJ stood there, confused.

"Your not- scared?"

"Oh please."

"huh?"

"I've faced worse." The puddle suddenly shined as giant water chains came out and reached for DJ. Once they locked on her arms and legs they started to pull her in.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?"

My element began to glow.

"Betrayal."

DJ's wings disappeared as he she was normal again. By then, she was gone, as the puddle vanished.

IN THE WATER PRISON

She'd lay there floating in the water.

Hah....Deja Ji your trapped......She thought.

No one ever knew your name...what a shame...

The chains grew tighter, as the room shrunk.
