Dragon Ball Z: The Thanksgiving Turkey

Chapter 1: What Is A Thanksgiving?

It's the time of year of Fall. Everyone's cozy, the weather's a breeze, and the leaves are showing their true colors. Over at the East District 439 area, Bulma is having a discussion with Chi-Chi.

"Thanksgiving's around the corner, what do you think we should do Chi-Chi?" "I'm not so sure on that Bulma." "But I was thinking more like a get together." "A get together?" Said Bulma. "Yeah, and since you did the Halloween party, I can tackle the end for Thanksgiving." Bulma chuckled. "Our husbands will definitely get excited over Thanksgiving." "Especially when Food is involved." Chi-Chi changed the topic.

"Speaking of Husbands, where are they now?" Chi-Chi went out of the Kitchen into the Living Room, to ask Trunks and Goten about their fathers, as they were watching TV. "Do you two know where your fathers at?" Trunks responded. "They're outside fighting each other." Chi-Chi gets annoyed. "What?" "How can they be fighting when we're trying to plan for Thanksgiving?" Goten was confused onto what she was talking about, but continued to watch TV. Chi-Chi on the other hand went outside, along with Bulma as they saw Goku and Vegeta fighting.

"Goku, Vegeta!" "Get in the house right now!" Goku responded as he didn't look at Bulma, continued to block Vegeta's hit. "Sorry Bulma, gotta shake Vegeta off my tail!" Vegeta answered. "Idiot." "You don't even have one." "But I guess this should give you some Dejivu!" Vegeta jumped backwards as he charged his Galick Gun. "I remember this scenery from the first time we meet!" Goku charged a Kamehameha.

"Goku, get in the house this instant!" Chi-Chi yelled as Goku ignored her, as he saw Vegeta firing his Galick Gun, with him firing the Kamehameha. The waves caused a clash, as there was high pressure of wind going on. Chi-Chi yelled some more, but was useless as it was too dangerous for her to stop them. "Ready to give up Kakarot?" "This ends now!" Vegeta transformed into Super Saiyan as he was quickly pushing Goku's Kamehameha.

"Round two then?" "Fine!" Goku too transformed into Super Saiyan as the beams were equally pushing each other. Chi-Chi started to get angry, as Bulma stepped in with another idea. "If that's the way it's gonna be, then you two won't be able to eat for Thanksgiving!" Goku and Vegeta took a pause. "Thanksgiving!?" Said Vegeta. "Food!?" Said Goku. The two immediately stopped powering the waves as they exploded, and went to Bulma and Chi-Chi.

"When can I have my plate!?" Chi-Chi in anger punched Goku, knocking him from Super Saiyan. "Gee, Chi-Chi!" "That hurts, ouch!" "WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU TWO THINKING!?" "YOU BOTH COULD'VE GOTTEN US ALL KILLED FROM THE WAY YOU WERE CARRYING ON!" "I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY, NOW YOU GET NOTHING FOR THANKSGIVING!" Goku pleaded with her.

"We're sorry, we didn't know we were bothering you." "Promise it'll never happen again." "Now can I please have my plate now?" Vegeta ignored her as he powered down from Super Saiyan, and turned to Bulma. "You mentioned something about Thanksgiving Bulma." "And you said that we can have food." "What's the catch?" Bulma smiled. "There's no catch at all." "We were just having a talk on what to do that day." "If you want more details, come in the house." Goku and Vegeta were confused on what she was talking about, but followed the wives in the Kitchen, to get informed.

"WHAT!?" "YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT WE CAN EAT AS MUCH AS WE WANT!?" Said Goku excited. "That's right Goku, and its all going to take place in our very Kitchen." Said Chi-Chi. Goku had a pause. "But you still haven't told us about this Thanksgiving." Chi-Chi smiled and explained. "Thanksgiving is a time to where we give thanks to those around us." "Families and Friends get together to have a good time, as they eat a wonderful meal." "We're going to have our first and it'll be great!" "We should've celebrated a long time ago, but I guess this can be a special case." Vegeta was careless and mumbled. "Hmph." "Whatever you say."

They all sat in the Kitchen and talked, until Goten and Trunks came in. "Mom, I'm bored." "Can you like take us somewhere or something?" Said Trunks. "Actually son, we were just wrapping up on what to do for Thanksgiving." Goten is still confused. "Thanks-Give-what?" "Chi-Chi once again took the opportunity to explain. " Thanksgiving is.." "Thanksgiving is a holiday you go with family and friends to have a Fest, giving thanks." "No need for any long runs." Vegeta said interrupting Chi-Chi, as she got angry, with Bulma stopping her.

"I guess it's all settled then huh Chi-Chi?" Chi-Chi stopped. "Hm?" "Oh yeah, guess it is then." "I'll go get the food and." "Wait, you want to get the food?" Said Chi-Chi. "Of course!" "And besides, being as rich as I am, I know some places with some good goodies!" "Alright, so we can do the setting up, you can do the shopping." Said Chi-Chi. "Correct!" "And we'll have everything ready once Thanksgiving comes." "Until then!" Bulma left with her family.

"Starting tomorrow, we can have everything ready for setting up and on Thursday, we'll be ready." Goku is confused. "But can we still have our plates now?" Chi-Chi is annoyed. "No Goku!" "Weren't you even listening to what I said?" "Tomorrow, we can be setting everything thing up, and on Thursday, Thanksgiving!" "We can then eat." Goku is disappointed. "Man!" "Now I gotta wait to eat." "Should've never fought with Vegeta." Chi-Chi cheers him up. "If you wanted to eat so bad, then have some Rice Cakes I just put in the refrigerator." Goku rushed with Goten to the refrigerator.
