My Crazy Ex-boyfriend (A Batman and Percy Jackson Crossover)

Chapter 8: Pregnant and a bridesmaid

I'm now 6 months pregnant with twins. The twins enjoy kicking me, a lot. 

So today is Fern and Dick's wedding. Me and Jason still haven't tied the knot, yet. I'm a bridesmaid and Moonlight's the maid of honor. 

"You OK?" Moonlight asks me as she sees me rumb my belly for the hundredth time.

"Yeah. The babies are kicking a lot and I'm in two inch heels," I say sharply. Moonlight looks taken back by what I said.

"Sorry Moonlight. Stupid hormones," I say as Fern moon walks out in her wedding dress.

It's skirt is simple, but as Fern moves it appears to have moonlight woven into it.

"Oh my gods. You look amazing," I say as I hear the wedding match start to play. I link arms with Jason and grab my flowers. 

Artemis herself is walking Fern down the isle. As everyone takes their seats, I feel a punch and kick from my babies. I whince in pain. That only brings more kick and hitting. 

I'm about to get up and head home when Jason lays his hand on my belly. The babies calm down in an istent. 

"Why do they like you so much?" I ask after the ceremony is over and we are at the reception at Wayne manor. 

"I don't know. You know, you look hot in that dress," Jason says and leans over to kiss me. 

"Hold it, tiger, we're in public and I'm pregnant," I say in his ear. 

"Later then?" he says.

"Maybe," I say. 

Jason pulls me into the dance floor as a slow song comes on. As we dance, I see all of my family happy. Not too much fighting, plenty of laughing and smiles, and a chance to be with the people we are closest to each other.

"Jason, you know what? I think today is the perfect day," I say as Jason and I walk off the dance floor.

"I can't agree more," he say and kisses me on my lips then my neck.
