The world is a beautiful place. There's pale colored birds and rolling hills that seem to go on forever. We have brilliantly minded people and those who work to restore peace. With everything being so beautiful, let me ask you this. What is beauty without ugliness?
While I stand by my opening statement, the world is also a very ugly place indeed. There are people who wish to cause harm with weapons and words. There are men who find pleasure in torturing the innocent. The world is also a place filled with hatred too.
There will always be evil in this world. There will be cowards in this generation, the next generation, and even the generation that ends poverty. Evil exists for one reason: to distinguish beauty.
I'm deeply devastated that ugliness is even a concept, but since there will never be a time when it's completely gone, I choose to spread beauty so that the number of good will always outweigh the number of evil.
Everyday, put a smile on your face and spread the beauty of that smile to others. Evil will always be around, but it's up to us to make the world more beautiful.
