LONE

Chapter 6

In the dark stinky room in which I was trapped, I saw that sack getting opened. That sack was opening very slowly as if no one could suspect it. I think something is in there. I was wondering why the sack wasn't opening in a faster speed. When it totally opened from the top. I mean the small white rope tied on the sack was opened fully, I saw a human hand. I thought it was not just something, it was someone. The one who would help me get out of here or else would eat me up like a predator.

This hand conjugated-ly came out of the sack. Slowly the whole person who was in the sack cane out of it. I was shocked when I saw Lara.

Yes! It was Lara!

"Lara was in the sack! How did she came here?" I wondered! I asked her the same question about she being here.

She said, "I would like to answer you later honey. First tell me where is Jon?"

I said, "I think he is in the room just in front of mine."

She checked out the room just in front of mine. She was fearing a bit to open the door. She thought that if she opened the wrong door, she might be facing LyRum the man eater. But she opened it very slowly. After opening, she came to knowledge that the room was empty. The room was filthy and stinking.

She immediately covered her mouth with her kerchief and said, "I think this is the room where that man eater open teared his preys and eat them. It stinks so badly. I can't even bare it!"

After saying this, immediately closed the door. She checked out the second door too. She found nothing. After happening this event every time, she started slamming the doors. She finally found Jon lying on the floor. She immediately came to notice that he was in an unconscious state. She pulled him out. When Lara pulled him fully out of the room, I grabbed his legs and she grabbed his shoulders. We lifted him in the air and in haste we took him out of the house. When we were doing all this stuffs, we saw that small boy who was going to be the LyRum's food. That was the same boy for whom I yelled at LyRum to not get him killed.

When I looked at him, he literally hid himself under the table.

I said, "Don't scare little boy. I can help you. Come with us."

I gave him a hand to motivate him. He took my hand in his hand and then we both ran out of the house with lots of fierce in mind. We were totally scared if Jason or LyRum would come there.

When we both reached out of the house, we saw Lara watering Jon's face to wake him up.

I started rubbing Jon's palms so that he can come into consciousness.

Suddenly he came into consciousness. He started coughing. Lara rubbed his chest a little so that he can feel better.

Few seconds later he was fully conscious.

While doing all these things Jason was busy pampering LyRum at the backyard. We four escaped from the house from the front.

It was very logical though.

When we looked at the surrounding, we saw only sand and rocks. We didn't loose our hopes and started running.

We were running very fast. We were not even cared about our attire. We kept on running and running.

5 minutes passed since we were running. We didn't even took a breath to get relief. We were running towards our freedom.

After a few minutes, our enthusiasm decreased and we started walking like humans rather than running like animal.

We walked a lot. It seemed that Jason bought us from our places to a very distinct place, a totally deserted one. There were only rocks, sand and cactus placed after every half mile irrespective of their linearity in the pattern.

We sometimes got stopped near a cactus and drunk the water inside it.

After feeling the refreshment, we again headed towards our home. Our home was in the same direction as I know because I saw a few miles of road when I was feeling a bit conscious in Jason's van.

We were on the right way was perfectly true.

We walked very much. It was evening time. The little boy who we picked up at Jason's place was hanging on my shoulders as he was feeling tired.

Everyone sat on a rock as everybody were tired. Suddenly I saw a ray of light just few miles ahead. It was a small town.

I pointed towards it. Everyone was looking with a charmed look at that light. I picked the boy on my shoulders again and then we all ran towards it.

After getting exhausted, we finally reached the town. The town seemed to be very simple. It was a very nice place to reside. Killing our beautiful thoughts, we started hunting for a small house immediately which was closed for years and would have some sleeping arrangements.

The small boy pointed out such a house and we ran towards it.

We reached that house. Somehow I managed to enter in the house. The house was totally empty. Seeing the haunted scene, we took the stairs which were near to the door.

I searched for a small light switch. When I found it, I switched it on. A pair of lights lit in the room. The room seemed to be crystal clear from inside. The room consisted of four series beds in two rows which were parallel to each other.

We hurriedly went in and started searching for some robes to wear. We found a small suitcase in which clothes were available. This suitcase was under a certain bed.

After immediately changing clothes, everybody hopped into their beds

I was still worried if Jason could again find us where we are!

Lara saw me in a sweet manner and said, "Don't worry, he won't find us here. Now sleep, you need rest."

I said, "Yeah. Goodnight". By saying this, I gave her my best smile

She said, "Goodnight" and went to sleep.

Forgetting all those dreadful moments, I slept deeply....
