Why is a ghost bad at lying? Because you can see right through them.

She remained still. Watching Jin eat his food happily, not even noticing his friend's missing ex-girlfriend infront of him.

Jin wiped his mouth, "Ah, that was really tasty... Why aren't you eating? You need to grow." Jin put some meat on her plate.

She took a deep breath, "Why are you acting like this?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Stop pretending that you've never met me before, Jin. I know that you know it's me."

Jin put his chopsticks down. "I was just waiting for you to speak first, Haru."

Haru let out a breath, "You're working as a secretary now? For this company? What ever happened to your musical career?"

"Never made it. What about you? I thought you were going into sciences."

"Changed my mind."

Jin took a gulp of water, "Jimin has been---"

"Can we not talk about him? I'm supposed to be working around you a lot so I think it's best if we keep things... Hm, comfortable?"

"You've changed, Haru." Jin whispered, "You've become cold."

It hurt Haru to be like this. But what choice did she have but to distance herself from him.

"Yeah, I have. I've been better too. I'm more confident now."

"I can tell. Your eyes seem to have gotten better."

Haru stirred her drink. "I think I should be heading back---"

"Have you ever considered contacting Jimin?"

"Jin, why are you doing this? You know it pains me, hearing his name."

"I'm trying to help! God, can't you see? Geez Haru, I'm trying to fix everything."

"Well, I don't need your help. I'm fine on my own."

Awkward silence walked passed by. Nothing was the same.

"Jimin wouldn't mind if you texted or called him... Even if it's just a 'hi'."

"I would mind. And besides, I lost his number anyways."

Jin slid a piece of paper towards her, "His number."

Haru stood up, "You know what? I know i'm being a bitch here, but you really need to try and stay out of this. Just please respect that I don't want to deal with this. What's done is done."

"Haru---"

Jin saw Haru turn the street. He dashed out, "Yah!" he called

Haru didn't spare a glace at him.

---

Jin starred at his phone, he fiddled with it. He rocked back and forth in his chair. His phone lit up.

"Hello?" Jimin's voice appeared, "Hyung? Yah, long time no see."

"Yeah. Indeed. What's up?"

"Nothing much... Hey, I heard you got a good position at this company! Congrats!"

"Thanks Jiminie... Wanna visit?"

"Wah, really?"

"Sure. I'll tell my boss that."

"Okay. Send me the details later."

"Will do."

Jin chuckled to himself, if Haru won't budge meeting him, then I'll just have to make it a 'coincidence'.
