Yours: You asked him why he called you pancake and he replied with,
'Because pancakes are soft and warm and fluffy and when you put syrup on them there sweet just like you!' You and Gus just stared at him
His: You had needed to go shopping and Shawn came with you. You were in the cereal isle and reading the list you said Pineapple and he replied yes and looked at you. It just kinda stuck

Carlton Lassiter (Lassie): Yours: Old- Not Shawn New- Sweetie
His: Lassie or Cowboy
Reason Behind it
Yours: He called you not Shawn for awhile and you just went with it until he called you sweetie one day and you told him to just call you that from now on
His: Shawn always called him Lassie and you call him cowboy because of his love for Clint Eastwood

Gus: Yours: Honey
His: Slicks

You: He just likes calling you that
Him: There's no reason behind it really you just randomly called him Slicks
