As soon as classes ended, the entire class apart from Crosha, Katie, and the teacher, bolted out of there. Katie stayed after school because she is having some Math make-up class.
"Hey, Katie," Crosha called.
"Yes?"
"Good luck to you for your test."
"Thanks."
Then Katie left the classroom without another word, leaving Crosha to keep her belongings. Crosha pulled out her laptop after all her other classmates left and she looked at the mark on her wrist. The teacher must've saw what she was doing and because she went up to Crosha.
"Why don't you go home?"
"Got something to do," Crosha replied. She pulled out another gadget, which can search the internet. Crosha scanned her mark and there was nothing found about it.
"Why are you scanning your wrist? And where did you get that fancy scanner?" The teacher asked.
"Ummm...." Crosha couldn't think of any explanation because she made it herself.
"Oh I see," the teacher said, "somebody gave it to you..."
"Yeaahh," Crosha said quickly keeping her stuff and standing up to exit the door. Crosha left school and went home. At her front porch, she saw Katie sitting on her favorite chair.
"What are you doing here?" Crosha asked Katie. Katie was wearing a black hoodie.
"Just wanted to talk to you," Katie said with a smile plastered on her face. "So, where is your parents?"
"They're not home."
"Are they not?"
Crosha looked down on the floor with anger, "I said, they're not home!" Crosha accidentally shot some fire at Katie. Crosha looked at her hands. "How did I do that?"
"Welcome to my world.... sister..." she pulled her hoodie down. She looked like Crosha except the blonde hair and blue eyes. She had a scar on her face just below the eye. Katie started to chant a spell.
