I awoke at my dad's feet. I was now wearing black skinny jeans and a white tank top. No shoes. My hair was down and brushed. Weird. I get up and stretch and look over at my father. He doesn't look himself anymore. His other eye is starting to turn black and his teeth are becoming sharper. I touch his cheek and flinch back from the coldness radiating off of his skin. "Daddy?" My voice was quiet.

"Kat, don't. Tell them anything." He took a deep breath. "I love you." And his eyes closed.

"Daddy? I love you too." I brushed his hair with my fingers and slightly sang to him. When I was little, he used to sing 'You Are My Sunshine' and he always put his own twist on it. Towards the end of my song, I heard a laughter. The laughter was to familiar and it sent a shiver down my spin. I turned slowly to see the biggest bitch, Jessie, and her side-kicks, Amanda and Bailey. My eyes narrowed as they exchanged glances.

"Goodmorning, Kat." Her laughter rattled the cement walls. "I love how you were able to join us." I cleared my eyes and looked at her. She was so beautiful now. Half of her hair was pulled up and the rest fell around her shoulders. She had a white Lacy dress on that looked brand new, on he feet were white high heels that seemed to take a lot of balance to walk in. He lips were blood red, and her teeth were straight besides, what seemed to be, fangs. He eyes were wide with wonder and thirst. "Oh, so you seemed to have noticed what Jarrod has done to me." She laughed again, this time quieter, creepier. "He said he could make me beautiful, which he did, with more perks." She tossed some hair behind her shoulder and put her hand on her hip. "Guess what I am." She flashed her fangs at me.

I took a step back shaking my head. "I don't... understand." My voice was almost gone.

I blinked and she was standing right in front of me. Her scent was amazing, hypnotizing. "Guess what I am now, Katrina. I am just like those things in you horror books." She smiled a half smile.

"Jess. Let me take it from here." A hand was placed on her shoulder. I looked up to see Steven. His blonde hair now and red streaks in it. His eyes turned a red color. He smiled as Jessie walked away. "Hello there, Kat." He was now petting my hair and grabbed a lock and brought it to his lips. He smelled it, closing his eyes and reopened them with a hungry look. "My my my. You look even better." He was now twirling my hair around a finger. I noticed we were backing up when my back and hands hit the wall behind me. I felt the coolness and looked away from him. He brushed hair off of my shoulder and ran his fingers down my neck. "Mmmm... Your skin looks flawless."

I tore away from his hand and walked to the window. "Help me Ben, I am waiting for you. Please." I felt kissing start from my shoulder and up to my ear. I turned and pushed Steven away. "Get away from me you monster!"

"There there, kitten. I am no monster." He looked at the girls standing nest to my father. "We. Are vampires of the night." I heard my dad wince and saw all three girls feeding off of my half-human father.

"Okay, so this is what we need to do." I looked through the weapons to hear some strange noises behind me. I turn around to see Liberty with a toy firetruck.

"Vrooommm!! Verr- Oh I uh. Wasn't doing anything." He threw the truck behind him and sat criss-crossed on the floor. "I'm completely, one hundred percent serious starting." He waited looking up at the sky and finally said "Now!" I couldn't help but giggle and shake my head. I turned back to the wall and started pulling off weapons.

"We will need a dagger. A couple of silver bullets. And swords." I tossed him two daggers, a gun with a round of silver bullets and a long sword.

"What are we going to do? Fight vampires and shoot werewolves?" He put the weapons away, except for the sword which he slowly and smoothly sliced through the air with.
