Alright, this is about to get confusing. I decided to put a memory within this memory, so I'll try to italicize it correctly and make it as clear as possible. As the current storyline goes, Sting and Rogue just got off the train, and Rogue is daydreaming about the first time they kissed(last time it was Sting and I decided to change it). To try and explain, their first kiss started with Rogue daydreaming about a game of hide and seek they played when they were kids. Hence, in Rogue's daydream(after getting off the train) he started by daydreaming, then it goes into their first kiss, then back to the train storyline.

Sorry if it's inaccurate or OOC, it's also really short.

Thank you all for reading, it really means a lot to me. Enjoy!

"Sting?" he called out softly. No reply came.

"Sting!" he tried again, but to no avail. "Where are you?"

"It's hide and seek! You're supposed to look for me, silly!" the boy's voice echoed through the cave.

"But-"

"No buts! Now catch me if you can!" At that, a bright light darted across the way, illuminating the stalactites and stalagmites of the dark cavern.

"Two can play at this game," the young dragonslayer mumbled turning himself into a shadow, just as Skiadrum had taught him. With his new visual awareness, he was quickly able to locate the bright white of his companion.

"Gotcha." Sting laughed, blue eyes sparkling.

Leaning in, he placed a kiss on the other's lips. "Gotcha back."

"Rogue? You okay?" The shadow mage nearly fell out of his seat, causing the other to chuckle.

"Yes, I'm fine," he seethed, regaining his balance.

"Oh lighten up," Sting said, clapping his friend on the back. "It was pretty funny."

"Was not!"

"Most definitely."

"No way."

"For sure. What were you so focused on anyways?"

"Uh," Rogue said nervously, blush rising to his cheeks. "Just the old days."

"Anything in specific?" the other asked, casually leaning against the bar.

"When we used to play hide and seek in the caves near home."

The white dragonslayer smiled fondly. "I remember that."

"Yeah, I won every time but you still insisted on playing."

"Not every time," he argued.

"Your magic emits light, it's kinda hard to hide in a cave," the shadow dragonslayer deadpanned.

"You're no fun."

"You're a sore loser."

"I bet if we played right now I'd win," he challenged, smirking.

"Sting," the other chided.

"No, let's do it."

Standing in front of the cave they played in so many years ago, Rogue was once again reminded why he put up with all of Sting's antics. He was in love with his best friend.

"Sting."

"What?"

"We should go home," he said, tugging gently on the blond's arm.

"No, let's play," he whispered, breath tickling the shadow dragonslayer's ear. With that he disappeared, leaving behind a flustered, blushing Rogue.

"Holy shit."
