The World's Most Gullible Man

After about five minutes of me staring around the room, without even blinking or flitching, I found a security camera.  The school did a pretty good job of hiding it, I found a small hole in the wall and it reflected light, so it was probably glass or something like that.  I concluded it was a camera.

I stared at it for about 45 seconds and heard a door open.  In came a chubby dude who reminded me of Santa Claus, in a blue suit.  He was probably the founder or principal.  Nice office he has, really.   His soft voice didn't match his appearance, "Sorry for the inconvenience earlier,  we do it to everybody.", he whispered.

"Why use that method if it's an inconvenience?" I asked.  Why drug 12 yr. olds?

"It's your first test.  The drug contains poison and I hope you will find the.....remedy or cure because you may die in a couple hours without it."

This was how he wanted to argue and fight with me.  It was my turn now.

"You're lying. Or bluffing.  Maybe both.  You're expression easily gives it away.  If it was true you would have a sadistic grin upon your face, not two bug eyes and rosy cheeks.  Bad move on your part." I knew I had hit the head on a nail.  I don't think I should have.

He had a murderous smile across his face, which was the last thing I would have suspected to happen in this situation.  I was on the defense now, it was his move. His eyes filled with a nightly purple and diamond shaped pupils in their middle.  "Oh, I knew you would pass, but you weren't that sneaky.  I figured on how you think and what you notice first within a person.  Their true selves or figure.  I think that's beautiful. When using that method of seeing, well you create a gateway into your soul and mind.  I can see your memories.  I would have never thought of such a background.  I didn't know there were such academies.  No wonder you have such great power.  OH, and I understand my eyes are creepy, but this is my true form.  Just like how your eyes look glassed over, trapping a grey fog within.  This fog seems to hold a darkness within.  A darkness of memories it seems."

I was iced over.  In fact, I was frozen.  I fell to my knees, feeling as if I had been punched in the gut.  Nobody had ever knew how I had truly felt and I liked it that way.  Yeah I was a bit sad at times, but with the secrets my soul holds onto with all it's might locked away everybody was safer in the end.  He had found my truth.  The sickening truth.

His voice had changed, it was a cold, crisp, hard voice, "You will spend the night in here,  Comet.  You are one of our most powerful students I think.  Ever."

I couldn't help but whisper,"You idiotic bastard, ever wonder why I keep those things a secret?"
