|Zayn |With each step I took, my pace has quickened in urgency. Too much has happened for me to comprehend. My eyes have seen what I could only explain as a true work of art .
No words would have done it any justice; no matter how complex.
With the memory of the home of emotions still fresh in my mind, I had taken oh so much inspiration from and I was yet to express my thoughts with the swipe of a brush.
My train of thoughts stopped as I fiddled with my bony fingers. Somebody has taken an interest in my lean figure ; I felt the heated stare of a stranger on my back, and I couldn't help but wonder why they were looking at me. No matter how sweaty my hands became or how my breaths were gradually becoming more shorter with every waking moment, I turned around. Only to meet the overwhelming stare of ice cold eyes staring right back at me.
Though in a split second, she left. And it felt as though the encounter of just a few seconds ago never happened, I knew there was more to her than what meets the eye.
Something about her cold eyes had me craving for more of her. I was intrigued, entirely taken away with the thought of her. She washed away the memory of everything and nothing and made my thoughts revolve entirely around her. She was a stranger I couldn't help but feel a foreign but familiar sense of an excitement and security with.
I admit that being immensely attracted to just another person walking down the sidewalk would make you seem like a psychopath and would be rather alarming, but I liked it that way. It just felt right.
Realization struck me that I hadn't moved an inch after my strange encounter with Frozen Beauty (or whatever her parents decided to have her birth certificate to spell out). People gave me various glances filled with confusion, worry and sometimes humor. But I had no reason to blame them for I was standing in the middle of a busy sidewalk looking like an absolute idiot to the rest of the human population.
The walk back to my personal safe haven - my cozy apartment- had my mind driving to places I didn't fancy visiting or knowing about in the slightest. It gave me this strange feeling of euphoria yet an undeniable sense of disorientation.
This place resembled an incandescent city of lights and all things found magical and highly pleasurable. Except this city, was what Frozen Beauty had imprinted on my mind. It was all about her. Every aspect, every tower, and every car passing by left a lingering thought about her. It was soon found that even the fragile blue of the sky had me fantasizing about the chilling blue of her eyes.
My mind wouldn't stop thinking of Frozen Beauty and I couldn't find reason to want that train to find a dead end anytime soon. I only hoped I would have the pleasure of talking to her. However, even seeing Frozen Beauty again would be an absolute miracle. But I know the chances of even that becoming reality was poor. Not to mention uttering a single word to her.
I was going mental, and it was all caused by a stranger I didn't even know the name of.
