Epilogue

The Johnson's were such a kind family. They had one moody teenage girl with her two black cats. All they were looking for was a nice home to live in. They found a lovely home, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They moved into the countryside into a lovely home with beautiful blue walls.

Alison Johnson attended St. Alexander's high school. Mr. Johnson, Adam, worked as a lawyer in town and commuted to the city where they used to live every now and then for a case. Mrs. Johnson, Catherine, worked as an artist in their home studio. The two black cats roaming wherever they liked. They were happy where they were.

The two black cats liked a place especially in the living room. They mewed at the wall and scratched it up as a combined effort. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson thought they just wanted a scratching post so Mrs. Johnson took it upon herself to buy a three-tier cat tree to scratch up and put it in front of the spot on the wall in the living room. The cat tree only made it easier for the cats to reach their scratching spot on the wall. Everybody let it be. Nobody really went in that rom anyways. Nobody really saw it anyway.

The doorbell rang a couple days later. A middle-aged man and a middle-aged woman appeared at their door. "Hello, we're your neighbors!" the woman introduced themselves politely. "We brought y'all some cookies just as a little treat to welcome you to the neighborhood!" She held out a tray of what seemed to be snickerdoodle cookies.

"That is so sweet of you," Catherine Johnson thanked. She called the rest of her family down to meet the friendly couple. "This is my daughter Alison and my husband Adam. You are?"

"I'm Nancy and this is my husband Jorge Hawking."

"Well it was very nice meeting you two. Have a lovely day!"

"You as well."

The Johnson's ate the cookies that night and what they didn't know was that the cookies held a secret. A fatal secret made by Jorge Hawking.
