The Demon Festival

Today was the day of the festival everyone's been talking about. It's been a few weeks since you started becoming friends with people. It's been a basic routine for you going to Rin's everyday. Studying and him making your lunch. He's been acting different since that job he went on with Yukio.

3rdpov

You were walking out your dorm and met up with Bon, Shima, Shiemi, Konekomaru, Kamiki, and Takara. Everyone but Rin.
"Yo (l/n), where's dumbass?"
"You know I hate when people use my last name Bon!"
He laughed and ruffled your hair.
"I don't know, I haven't seen him all day. I'm worried."
"Ah, he's probably off doing some stupid shenanigans we shouldn't get involved in. C'mon let's go play some games. I'll win you a bear."
"Haha I'll take that offer."

1st pov

Me and Bon went and played some games and he won me a bear like he promised. Shima was flirting with Shiemi and Kamiki and Konekomaru was eating festival treats with Takara. I was happy that I finally opened up and got close with everyone. Even though I was happy, I wasn't my happiest. All on my mind was Rin. Why wasn't he here and why he wouldn't answer my texts. For once I actually missed him.
  He did a lot for me and we've only known eachother just about a month. He was a great cook, and a great listener. For being the son of satan he was probably the kindest and most friendliest guy I've ever met. If I didn't see it for myself I never would've believed he was related to satan himself. He may be stubborn and pushy, but those were overpowered by his kindness and way of being overprotective.
    It was fall, close to winter and all I wore to keep warm was a scarf. I wore a long sleeve shirt with a skirt and sneakers. I wasn't cold but I wasn't warm. The sky was getting dark and the wind was picking up.
"(F/n) are you cold? Do you need my jacket?"
"I'm okay, thank you though."
The festival was big and colorful. Decorations and sparkling lights hung all over. I loved these sort of things but haven't really went to many. It got even darker around the sky, sun setting lower after each minute.
  "Are you still going on the ferris wheel?"
"I guess so."
I looked down at the ground. My mind was clouded with thoughts. I was so confused. So worried. Everything around me was colorful, but my mind was grey. Everyone was going on the rides. For once in a long time I wanted to be alone. I told everyone I'd catch up later. I started walking to the side of a concession stand when suddenly I was grabbed and pulled behind the stand, my mouth was covered by a cold hand. I freaked and elbowed the guy in the face and stepped on his shoe.
"Dammit what the hell (f/n)?!"
I turned to see Rin. He had on black skinny jeans and a tshirt. He felt cold but looked so hot. Like a punk kid with that wonderful guy aroma.
"Rin!"
I lunged and hugged him. I missed him badly. Then I hit him in the back of the head.
"What the hell! why'd you cover my mouth? I thought I was being kidnapped!"
"I didn't want you to scream and draw the guys over. I want to be alone with you."
I was shocked. My face was red and my skin felt hot. What was this feeling? It was Rin who made me feel confused. Why was I feeling this?
He grabbed my hand and took me to the Ferris wheel. It was bright and had every color there was. No one knew where we were and we snuck on.
We sat in and put the belt on over us. Having Rin so close made my heart race a marathon. It started moving and I grabbed Rin quick for balance. He didn't protest, just held onto me.
Once we got to the top I could see everything beyond the horizon.
"Wow..Rin look how pretty! There's so many lights it's so bright."
I start to lose my balance and he wraps his arm around my waist and holds me close.
"You gotta be careful up here."
"Y-yeah..."
I could barely speak. I've never been so close to a guy. His body felt warm but his arms felt cold.
"Rin you're freezing why aren't you wearing a coat?"
"I was on another job with Yukio and ran straight here after. I'm sorry I was so late."
The ferris wheel went in a full circle and we were back on the ground.
"C'mon Rin let's go make you some hot chocolate."
"We can make it at my dorm then. No one stays there but me and Yukio so the kitchen will be open."
"Okay, let me just text Bon and tell him where I'm going. I don't want them to worry."
Rin had a look of disgust on his face. He then grabbed me and pulled me behind a concession stand again. He held my arms and pushed me against the back of the wall.
"I hate you being around him. I hate when you text him and even when you bring up his name."
"Rin I told him the same thing earlier. You both need to stop fighting over me because both of you are equally important to me."
"You're more important to me than anyone."
I was in shock. What was I supposed to say to that?
"R-"
I was cut off before I even finished a word. He kissed me. His lips were warm but dry from the cold. My heart erupted with emotions and finally I wasn't confused anymore. Instead of my mind being grey colors it was fireworks exploding and swirls of sparks and happy emotions all in my head. The confusion stopped and I knew right then and there.
I was in love with the son of satan.
