Henry
"Henry where are we going?!" Violet exclaimed as I sped away from the town, the early morning air chilled the car while the two little ones slept in the backseat.
"My father's house." Henry said with a hard face, I just nodded and squeezed his unoccupied hand as he sped down the road towards the city.
"I don't know if I will ever see them again." He whimpered, I looked up at him and rubbed my thumb on the top of his hand. "What?" I asked, he took a shaky breath and slowed down as we approached the city, her took a sharp turn and pulled into the parking lot of the apartments.
"My moms, or Robin or Killian , or my grandparents! They are all gone and I left without saying goodbye." He said shedding a tear, the liquid shimmering in the rising sun, I just squeezed his hand and got out of the car to get Bethany who was now fussy for Regina.
"Hi I'm here to buy Neal Cassidy's apartment." Henry said pulling out a credit card, the man nodded and completed the transaction. "And who are these lovely people?" The old man said, Henry nearly froze with the question, not having a story planned out.
"Henry is my husband, and this little one is Bethany, our daughter, and Roland is our son." I said quickly, not even thinking about what I was saying, he nodded quickly and balanced a sleeping Roland and our bag.
"Do you need help with your things?" The man asked, Henry shook his head and continued climbing the stairs.
"It's being shipped." I said before following him. We made it to the top and he unlocked the door, placing Roland on the bed and covering him with the blanket.
"Babe, when are we going to go back?" I asked setting Bethany inside of the small bassinet that I had managed to grab before Regina nearly threw us to the town line, he sighed and sat down in the living room and dropped his face into his hands.
"Whenever she calls." He muttered, I saw his chest shake slightly and then moisture run down his hands as he began to cry.
"Babe, you will see them again, your mom is going to get everyone back and they are going to be as good as new." I managed, trying to push down my own worry for his sake.
"I just have a bad feeling, something is wrong and I need to do everything I can to fix it." He uttered, I gently took his hands away from his face and cupped his trembling chin.
"Babe, you can't think like that, your moms are very strong women, they are natural leaders and you don't need to worry about them because I have faith that they can take care of themselves." I managed to say, trying not to sound too harsh, he just nodded and relaxed back on the couch.
I curled into his arms and drifted off to sleep when there was a loud banging at the door, it didn't seem to wake the kids so I quickly went over and opened the door.
"Is this the residence of Henry and Violet Mills?" A man said, he was older and had dark skin from being outside too long, and his hairline was receding, I was about to correct him when I remembered our lie. "Yes, I'm Henry's wife Violet." I said propping the door open with my hip, he nodded and then picked up a car seat.
"My social worker Miranda Quiroz was placed with a baby girl about three months ago, and a woman was in the process of adopting her and she was suppose to be sent to a... Storybrooke today, but there was a hiccup in her schedule and she didn't want her to come yet, so she instructed specifically that we bring the baby to you." He said handing me the seat, I immediately gasped and stared in my little girl's eyes, my baby whom I had given up those long months ago.
