Adrien had just sat down when the late bell rang, alerting students and teachers that it was time for class to commence.
'Just in time.' ,He thought to himself, 'I feel bad for the person that comes in late today of all days, we're having that huge math exam at the beginning of class.'
Just then, Marinette came tearing in the door, looking frazzled and a bit lost. She had been on watch with Chat Noir until midnight and had forgotten her homework until she came off duty, she was... a bit tired to say the least. All things considered, it was a miracle she had made it to class this early, because she slept through all three of her alarms.
As she took her seat, she looked as though she had remembered something, "The math test is today!", she yelled, "Alya, I completely forgot it was today, what am I going to do?! " Her previously somewhat composed facade shattered at the dreadful realization.
"Your best, my friend, your best." Was Alya's oh-so-helpful response.
Marinette let out a groan of frustration and annoyance. 'Today', she thought, 'is not going to be a good day.'

After being yelled at by her teacher, failing the math test, Chloe being, well, Chloe, and embarrassing herself in front of the class by tripping on her way out the door to lunch, Marinette had had about enough. She was currently sitting in front Alya at lunch, and she knew Alya was up to something.
"Ok, do you remember last week when you said you could beat level 92 of Candy Crunch before me and I said you couldn't and we made a bet?", Alya asked.
"Yes, of course I do. If I lost I had to ask Adrien out and if you lost you had to give up your Ladyblog for a week. How could I forget, it's one of the biggest bets we've made ever since the swing-set licking incident in 3rd grade." Marinette mumbled in response.
"Well, I've got news... I won! And it's time to pay up your half of the debt." Alya smirked.
"W-wait, what?! Alya!" The blue haired girl stuttered.
"You heard me. And I won't take no for an answer" The brunette replied in a condescending tone.

Adrien had just gotten off the phone with his father, who was not in a good mood because of a virtually invisible mistake Adrien made at a photo shoot. It didn't help that the blond already had a headache before answering the phone, either. He pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes.
When he looked up, he saw Marinette standing in front of him with a look that was a mix of concern and flustered-ness.
"Adrien, a-ah, that is, a-are you ok?" She asked.
"Peachy", he responded, "what can I help you with Marinette?"
"I-I was wondering, o-or rather, I wanted to know if maybe you wanted t-to-" The nervous girl stuttered.
"I really don't have time for this right now. I'm sorry, but can we talk about this later?" Adrien said coldly, not realizing the impact the tone in his voice had on the girl.
He glanced back at her with an irritated look, not necessarily directed at her, but at the world in general and noticed the tears forming in her eyes. He turned around and continued walking.
"You could've been a bit nicer you know." Plagg scolded.
"She'll be fine, if Marinette is strong enough to thwart off Chloe, she's strong enough to overcome a few words from a guy she barely knows.",He shrugs,"For now, can we just transform so I can blow off some steam?"
Plagg sighed, but obliged.

As Chat Noir raced past many a by-stander on the Arc de Triomphe he noticed one particular figure draped in red in an alleyway. She was standing, hunched over, but it was very obvious to anyone paying close enough attention, that this figure was crying.
"My lady?", the black cat called down the alleyway.
Ladybug looked up and quickly tried to hide the fact that she was crying just seconds ago, "Hello, kitty cat", the girl said, putting on a less than convincing smile.
"My lady, you don't need to pretend like you're not upset, it's ok" The concerned feline said in a hushed voice.
The girl nodded and immediately started crying again.
"Would you mind telling me what happened? Did someone hurt you?" He asked, he felt the anger build up inside him at the simple thought of someone hitting his beloved Ladybug.
The twin-tailed girl shook her head and started blubbering about something, but all Chat could make out was something about boy troubles, and being coldly rejected. He felt sympathetic, yet he couldn't help but feel sad knowing that his lady's heart wasn't devoted to him.
He lifted the blue haired girls chin, making their eyes lock, "My lady, if I had your heart, I would never hurt you, I would give you nothing but the love you deserve", he took her hand and kissed it gently.
Ladybug couldn't make out any words for the feeling of gratitude and appreciation in her heart... but there was something else, that she couldn't identify.
She looked up at the boy and tugged him into a tight hug, "Thank you", she whispered.
He barely heard heard her, but when he recognized the words, he blushed and pulled her closer, "Of course, my lady."
