You were like the ocean. You were calm, vast, powerful and deep. You were so full of life and in the horizon you can't even end.

You seem to follow some kind of rules and order but you were also mayhem yourself. When harmed, you retreat gracefully, but you come back stronger. Maybe as a storm. Or a tsunami, depending on how wounded you were. Havoc starts when you were vulnerable. And this is why you're beautiful.

For I might be put into peril but it would be an honor to drown into your waters.

But I was like the shoreline. I was already too close to understand you and the movement of your waves, but our connection was never enough for me to become a part of you.
