Meant to be?

CAMERONS POV
As I watch her drive off I relive I can't lose her again I quickly go inside and get the keys "cam where are you going" Alex asks me with a little worry in her voice 'I have to go somewhere I'll be back'

I run outside and turn on the car I drive off to where she went

*2 hours later*

I've looked every where for and I can't find her just when I'm driving back to my house I look at the sky and zone out

*flashback*
"you really seem memorized by them" I jump a little from his voice I laugh a little from what he said 'ya it's just...calming' I turn to face him and it just seems all so perfect were both facing each other now "well I think I might be calling you the sunset princess" cam says I giggle at that we just stand there and stare into each other's eyes
*flashback over*

I turn around I drive off I get out of the car and run around until I see her on the doc sitting down with her feet hanging off I run up to the doc when I reach it I start walking towards her

I stand next to her and I decide to sit down we're both looking off into the sunset and it's quiet...a comfortable quiet then she lets out a chuckle "the..uh the other day char came up to me and she said she's just like me she likes sunrises and I like sunsets" she says to me

'You remembered me?' I ask in almost a whisper she laughs a little then looks down and up again "how couldn't I...you were" she stops and shakes her head I look at her 'I was why lex....tell me' she stays quiet for a minute the faces me and looks me in the eye

"....you were my first love" she pause for a while then continues "you made me feel worth it like I was meant to be here you made me fall for you.... and I fell hard...and then you just...."

We look at each other for a while and I start to lean in right when we're about to kiss she speaks "left" I open my eyes and she's looking down so I back away I look forward and she's turns her body so she's facing me I start to feel her play with my fingers

A slight smile grows on my face "cam?" She says 'hmm' she waits a little before talking "did....did you love me" she asks I look at her and she looks at me I see her eyes are sparkling from the sun

'I still do' she smiles a little but she looks hurt 'do you love me' "honestly?" 'Ya....honestly' she lays her head on my shoulder 'I don't know...I want to but--" I look at her and she sits up 'but what nothing is stopping us' I tell her with plead in my eyes

Tears start to build in her eyes ''cam...your married and you have kid on the way I can't le--" 'lex' I start to choke up by a lump in my throat I her her sniffle and she looks down and I hear her talk

"Today someone asked me if I knew you... A million memories flashed through my mind but I just said I used to" we both stand up and she starts walking away I just look down

Until I hear her voice I look up to see her "cam..maybe one day we'll find that place where you and I could be together. And we'll catch our dreams within the waves of change. So smile for me one last time and believe that we'll meet again. Until then, I'll be missing you."

I flash her a small smile she smiles back and walks off.
