Recap:

I turned and looked at Nick who was shocked and breathing hard. 

"Woah."

I grinned. "Well, I'm glad you enjoyed the ride!" I laughed and kissed him on the cheek. He grinned and stroked my hair.

" You're so funny." He laughed. 

I grinned and suddenly, I froze. We both heard a scream and I instantly recognized who's scream it was.

Nicky.

My heart literally stopped beating. I seriously thought I was dieing. Why was my life so dramatic?

I already knew what I looked like. I bet I looked like a freak with goosebumps all around my body because I was freaking scared. I quickly got out of the car and ran towards the door. 

The door was open and when I stepped in I saw Nicky on the floor, wincing and crying. Her face looked so pale and white and I swear to God.. She looked like she had seen a ghost. Her mom and dad were breathing hard, staring at her .

I was too scared to do anything.. Too worried to move. I was just.. shocked.

Suddenly, it felt like someone had stabbed me and I stepped forward, falling on the ground next to Nicky.

I wasn't stabbed but I felt the pain Nicky was feeling. 

"Nicky!" I yelled.

She winced and turned her head towards me. She started crying and sobbing harder, hiding in my chest. I sighed and stared up at her parents who stood like statues.

I could feel the anger rising. How could they be so irresponsible? They're daughter was on the floor! Practically dieing!

I stroked her soft hair and wiped her tears.

"Shh..what's wrong?"

"They.. They know." She whispered. 

She sounded horrible. Like as if a frog was stuck in her throat. She looked miserable and tired. She had huge dark circles under her green eyes and her face was pale and her hair was messy and oily and she smelled.. horrible. I sighed and tried to pick her up.

I quickly looked outside the window, Nick was still there. Thank God.

She stood up but she had a little difficulty. She definitely lost weight.. Even though she was supposed to gain weight.. I sighed and wrapped my arm around her, supporting her.

Her mother stepped forward and slapped Nicky across the face. I gasped and stood in front of Nicky, protecting her and still , supporting her with my arm.

"What the hell is wrong with you! SHES YOU DAMN DAUGHTER!" I yelled at her.

She winced and started crying harder. Her husband wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tight, kissing her hair. I growled.

"ARE YOU EVEN HUMAN!? YOUR WIFE JUST SLAPPED YOUR CHILD! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" I yelled louder. 

"STOP ADDISON ! You have no idea what has happened. It's best if you leave!" Her father shouted.
