We just looked at each other. Me wide eye like a deer in headlights, and him look intently at me like I was a piece of meat.

I didn't know what to do or what to say. I had a job and there will be consequences if I don't follow them. But then again my mate is fricking Damien Stone. I should have nothing to worry about.

I felt so uncomfortable just sitting on the bed. I averted my eyes to ground, I could slowly hear him walker closer. My heart rate sped up increasingly, I didn't want him near me.

The thought of rejecting came across my mine. 'No! Please don't reject our mate! You know what will happen to you if you do.'

She did have a point, if I reject him then I could lose my wolf. Worse it could possibly kill me, by making me weak and depress.

I snapped out of my thoughts, when I felt the bed dip a little. I look up to see him sitting couple inches away from me. I gulped not liking how close we are.

"Are you going to hurt me?"

My question was only above a whisper. I wonder if he even heard it, since it was so quiet.

"Why would I hurt my own mate?"

I shrugged my shoulders. Really? You come here to sleep with me against my own will, though I was going to kill him. I looked at him to the bed.

Confusion was shown in his eyes but quickly understood what I meant. He made an 'o' to let me he understood. I could see his eyes darken. This scared me, rogues are known not to have the best control over their wolves, especially with their mates.  They are known to kill their mates, if they don't submit to their mate.

I put my eyes back down on the ground. I shuffled my hand around to find the silver knife just in case he gets out of control. I felt a cool, burning sensation on my fingers letting me know I found it.

I quickly grabbed the handle and held it close to my thigh. "What is your name?" He asked.

"I-I a-am A-Adeline," I stutter out.

"Adeline, what a lovely name," he said. My name coming out of his mouth gave me shivers down my back. It sounded perfect when he said it. But there was nothing perfect about him. He was beyond perfect.

"And how did you get here, princess?"

I winced at the nickname he gave me. I am not your princess! And I will never be! I stayed quiet not wanting to answer him, more on how he would react.

"Are you going answer?" He said with a eyebrow raised. I could hear his annoyance in his voice. I knew this could possible get kill cause I am not 'respecting' him.

But, I still didn't answer. Instead I turn my head so I wouldn't be facing him. I felt two fingers being placed on my chin. My felt my head being moved to look at a rather pissed off looking Damien.

I gulped down my fear that I have. I was one of the best warriors! I shouldn't be scared of a rouge. I took then down everyday. But this one is an alpha, besides he is twice the size of a regular rouge. I could never take down an Alpha by myself, that would be death waiting for me. His eyes are pitch black with specks of gold in them. Mostly from his wolf trying to push through.

"Don't test me, princess," he said. His minty breath fanning my face. I nodded my head. "So I will ask again how did you get here?"

He moved away from my face and sat backed down to his original place. I felt a little cold from him not being near me.
