*The day before the trip*

When I get home from school I pack, in an angry rush. Shampoo? Check. Razors?Check. Camera? Check. Wait. As I look through the camera images a picture comes up of middle school with me hugging Summer on the last day of school. Hot tears flood my eyes... Why did everything have to change? Hearing my sobbing my mom comes into the room. "Honey, what's wrong?" "Nothing, I'm fine...It's just that I'll miss you, I can't believe I won't see you for three weeks! "I lie. "Oh it's alright honey! I'll be fine you'll have so much fun! I can remember the crazy things I did on my senior year field trip! Don't worry about me kid just have a good time!" My mom says. "I guess it'll be fun..." I say, trying to sound convincing. "Alright let's get to the airport!" She enthusiastically says.

*At the airport*

"Honey! I'm going to miss you so much! Good luck! I hope you have fun on your trip!" My mom sobs into my shoulder, she's been blubbering like this since the car ride there. "It's ok mom, really. I'll be fine." I say trying to comfort her. "Alright but promise me, Call when you get there !"

"Ok Mom I will love you.Bye !" I say as I hug and kiss her goodbye. I grab my luggage and board the plan. As I'm just starting to get comfortable with my iPod head phones in and a pillow behind my head, I'm greeted by none another than the douche bag I loathe, Adam Samuels.

"What are you doing here?!?" I scream at him. "What does it look like? Sitting next to my partner on the Cancun trip" He arrogantly smirks at me. God, I wish I could wipe that smirk off his face. "Ugh, can't find someone else to annoy? Go away"

"Noope" He says popping the p and gives me a heart stopping smile, full with dimples.

Wait, what ? No stop thinking like that Robin! You hate him he's an ugly jerk.

"Ugh" I scooch farther away and push Adam to edge of the seat. "Hey!" "What? You asked for it sitting here." I grumble. I slip my headphones in and slowly drift off to sleep ....
