Alexa's POV
I call Carlos on the phone. Like, for real. I'm going to talk to him.
"Hello?"
"Oh... Hey Carlos. I was wondering if you could come to my house to work on the project."
"Do you mind coming to mine?"
"Of course not! I'll come by right now!"
"See you soon!"
I hang up the phone. I can't believe it! I'm actually going to his house! I have to make a good first impression.I pull into the driveway. I feel time stop. I walk to the door when I see Carlos greeting me.
"Hi Alexa! Come on in!"
"Okay!"
We go downstairs and start the project. I start brainstorming ideas for the layout.
"So, do you like this layout?"
"Yeah. Let's go with that."
We start gluing everything down when Carlos starts talking.
"Listen, Alexa. I've liked you for a while and I haven't told anyone."
"Really! I thought you liked Sharna!"
"No, not really."
"Well, I like you too."
We get back to the project and Carlos becomes silent. He starts getting closer to me and he goes in for the kiss. I don't know what to do! I've never kissed someone before! I just let it happen...
Sharna's POV
I've decided not to do the project today, so I've walked to Carlos's house. His parents let me in, and told me he was downstairs. I walk downstairs, ready to greet him. I turn the corner, and what do I find? Carlos and Alexa kissing.
"CARLOS!"
"Hi... Sharna..."
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH ALEXA!"
"Um.. Working on our project..."
"THAT DID NOT LOOK LIKE WORKING ON YOUR PROJECT! That's it. We're done."
"We were never dating..."
"Just... Don't talk to me, don't like my Instagram photos, don't friend me on Facebook, and don't snapchat me."
"Sharna! It's not what it looks like!"
"It's fine Carlos... I'll go." I say trying to make him feel better.
"No, Alexa! You don't have to!"
"It's fine, Carlos. I'll see you at school."
