Bindi's POV
I see Derek. Boy, I've liked him since we were 7. The way his eyes sparkle, his smile, what is there not to adore? I just, can't let my feelings show. After all, I am the school matchmaker. I'm not supposed to fall in love.
At lunch, I sit with my most recent client, Val. Val tells me what he is looking for in a girl.
"Someone who is kind, pretty, and smart."
"Well, Val, I have just the person for you!"
"Who?"
"Witney Carson!"
"She like, the prettiest girl in school!"
"Yep! Let's go talk to her!"
"No wait!"
I take him to Witney. They make the perfect couple. Aww! I can see it now, Val and Witney on the Disney Cruise. A match made in heaven!
In the hallway, Derek approaches me.
"Hey, Bindi, I need a match."
"Well, I have a girl for you!"
"What does she look like?"
"She has brown hair, brown eyes, fairly short, smart, and kind."
"Are you going to tell me who it is?"
"No silly, you have to figure it out. If you can't, come back to me in two days."
"Okay..."
I hear him repeat it in the hallway. Little does he know, that girl is me!
