"What happened to James?" "I told you, it's those stupid animatronics! They killed him!" And there it is. He said it. Like he does all the time. I've been working here for a while, and something I've already noticed, is that Benny ALWAYS blames the animatronics when something happens like this. It's only been James's second night, and he already disappeared. "Well? Is no one taking me seriously? Again? How does no one believe me?" "Because, your answer is always the same. Whenever something is wrong, you always say 'animatronic' this, and 'animatronic' that. Do you really think kid-entertaining, robotic-animals would be capable of something like this. More importantly, would they be able to do it repeatedly?" "Thank you, Annie." Annie has always been reasonable. "David, listen to me ONCE. Please..." "I'm sorry Benny, but everything you've told us before has been COMPLETELY unreasonable." "Well..." Benny said, crossly, "Has Phone-guy have anything to say?" "I told you before, I hate being being called that." It ticks me off when he calls me that. New employees, I can understand, but someone who's been working here before I even started... "What, I'm pretty sure your job is recording messages for other employees? Ain't it?" "It's not just that. I'm handling your worst nightmares." I sneered. "Enough, you two." David made us stop fighting. "Your behaving like that little, screaming brat that had the birthday party." Benny rolled his eyes. But I guess David had a point. We did fight. A lot. "We can't end this meeting without a new employee. We still need a replacement for James." Annie informed. "I think it's Phone-guy's turn to check the resumes." Benny sneered. Annie shot him a glare. "What did we just talk about? Anyway, he's right. It is your turn to check them." David concluded. I checked the pile of papers on the desk. Some of the forms were just COMPLETELY ridiculous. I flipped through all the names. I found a couple that were decent, but not good enough. I did consider mentioning them if I didn't find a good one. I made down to the last three. I was about to lose hope, but then I found one. This one was perfect. There is no way David would turn away from this one. "Hey guys, I found one." I called. "It's a good one." "Really? Not so often do we even get something that's even close to good." David replied. "What's his name?" Annie asked I looked back at the top of the resume. "His name is Derek Arvin."
