Chapter 9- Halmeoni

Minso's P.O.V

Thanks to Taehyung my life is now over. It's Wednesday and yesterday was the day he ripped apart my heart.

Aren't I making this such a big deal? I mean it's just a job... Why do I like it so much?

All of a sudden something hits me.

*flashback*

"My darling! Grab those papers over there." A woman speaks softly.

"Okay halmeoni (grandmother)."

"You were always great at helping others. You know that? I hope one day your gift will be used to help others." Her voice softly approaches me.

All of a sudden she starts fading away and slowly disappearing.

"I miss you Minso... I love you my darling." She says.

She's leaves me... Alone. She's gone.

*end of flashback*

Tears start flowing down my cheeks. I hear a knock on my door.

I quickly wipe my tears and say.

"Who is it?"

"It's me..." A voice I recognise.

The person comes in when I realise who it is.

Taehung.

"Who let you in my house! How do you even know where I live?!" I say pushing him away from my door.

"I understand now I-" I cut him off.

"You understand what?! That you fired me from a job I liked?! Not only because I'm not good at it but because you ,all of a sudden, are accusing me of harming other people?! Who do you think you are Taehung!? I'd rather have no money than work for you." I say firmly clenching my hand.

He stands there frozen looking to the ground.

He sighs.

"Minso... You're very kind you know that?" He says.

How is he even still here saying something?

"You're the first person... That's worked for me. And been nice."

"I'm guessing this is how you rich people say thanks then?" I say starring at him.

"I'm sorry." He says leaving my room. I hear a sniff then the front door shuts.

I can't stop the tears barricading my face and leaving it numb.

I still have 30 minutes to get to school.

I wipe my tears and walk out of the house.

Taehyungs P.O.V

What have I done? I need to make it up to her... Or should I just give up?

That's it. I'm going to her school.

I walk to a shop near her school and buy some expensive Belgium chocolates. I add some flowers and a note saying;

'I'm sorry. If there's anything I can do, just name it. I'm not giving up on you so please don't give up on me.'

I sigh and run into her school, unnoticed.

I see a locker that says;

"Minso❥" on it.

I force open the locker and place the presents.

I feel a tap on my shoulder.

A short girl with glasses points to a huge tv on the wall and suddenly everyone starts running closer to it.

"Oh sorry, I meant to show my friend." She says blushing in embarrassment.

"Oh okay." I say, then close the locker and see the TV.

Suddenly somethings starts playing.

"I don't want you to work for me." I hear my voice then my eyes widen.

It's Minso and I. Standing... And talking the way we did yesterday.

Then I saw the girls from yesterday stand on a stage and say.

"So pathetic she got fired!" They say in unison.

I run out the school when I see Minso walking in.

"Don't go in there Minso." I say.

"Don't tell me what to do!" She shouts running in the school.

There's nothing I can do now. Nothing.
