"Yes dad, I'll be careful, and yes I know, no boys and always keep your shotgun in your bag" she repeated her dad's words in a whisper to make sure that nobody could hear. She was starting her first year at Beacon Hills University that day, and she was filled with mixed emotions of excitement and anxiousness to meets her new roommates and friends. Sadly, deep down in her heart, she knew something drastic would happen to her especially with her being in a new environment. It's either she finds her blessing she's been searching for for the past few years or will be followed with a curse, something that she always dreaded to have but figured that that's how life works.

She dragged herself to the dorm, feeling her plait fall apart but trying not to lift her plaid skirt up as she walked, struggling to hold a lot of objects in her hands.
"Yeah, dad I really need to go now, there's flight of stairs I need to go up on and I can't talk to you at the same time, I promise I will call you back when I can," she said before her eyes wondered to a certain familiar dark haired boy she used to play around with when she was young. She saw him throwing the ball around with another guy whilst laughing their heads off, she waited for him to turn around from his friends and made eye contact. It was brief but the weirdest feeling came over here and she quickly looked away. Damn, he absolutely went on the right path of puberty, she thought to herself and walked away. Stiles let his eyes wonder to the name of his voice and saw Lydia, he needed to make sure it was her so he speed walked to her.
"Need help picking up your stuff, stranger?" He said with a smirk, knowing Lydia was purposefully acting like she didn't know him.
"Oh, I'm busted, I surrender," she said, failing to conceal her smile and raising her hands above her head as she turned around. He stood still for a second, waiting for her consent to hug her, she knew because he would always look down and slowly nod and she thought it was weirdly cute. Everything he did was weirdly cute. But she could never tell him that, he'll grow a big head just from that comment. Lydia stretched her hands out more and waited for Stiles to lift her up from the ground in a warm hug.

They both let go of each other and dropped down to collect the fallen objects on the ground. "My dad never told me you were attending BHC, I guess he wanted to leave it as a surprise," she said finally standing up with her stuff. She took them quickly from his hands and tried to stuff it in her purse but she was failing miserably. "Wow Lyds, still the same old klutz I leave back home in London,"
"What, old habits die hard," she said jokingly and grabbed her luggage. "Well I got to go to my dorm, dorm 216 and drop my stuff off, guess I'll see you around, yea?" She said questionably. "Hey, I could help because I have friends living there," he said taking her luggage and walking up the stairs. She couldn't help herself but to stare at his biceps as he carried her bags effortlessly up the stairs. "You coming?" He said distantly. She quickly rushed up the stairs to join him.

They arrived at her dorm with her breath quickening. "Calm down Lyds, they really nice and you're starting to starting sound like bag pipes,"
"Really Sti, bag pipes, you've gone rusty," she looked at him with her arms crossed and her shaking her head. She had missed this, the on going banter and pet names, she only had this connection with Stiles and no one else, not even her exes were that close, friendship wise.

When she knocked on the door, a chocolate haired girl came to the door with a big smile on her face. Lydia could already see the appearance of the dorm, with two small sized beds on each side of the room with bed side drawers and lamps next to them, the light was dangling from the ceiling and two girls already chattering to one another in one corner. The shorter girl had jet black hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a denim skirt, a plain black top and skater shoes. The other girl who was scowling at Lydia had blonde tip- dyed short hair with scandals and a short black and yellow biker dress exposing her long legs.

"Hey Alli, this is Lydia Martin and she is your new roommate and, Lyds this is Allison Argent. I know that she will treat you well, so I got to go meet Scott, don't forget Alli, we see you at ten o'clock?"
Stiles asked her and waited for her to nod before walking away casually.
"Hey there, welcome to Beacon Hills College," Allison said with a wider grin. Damn, she likes to smile a lot.
"Um, Hey. Thanks, so what year are you in?" Lydia said finding her the ground more interesting as she walked inside the dorm, she glanced at the other two girls who were whispering and looking at her in disbelief. "Oh, I'm in the third year with my friends." She put her bags down and let out a sigh as she flopped down on her newly made bed.

They were in the room getting to know each other and unpacking their bags from six until it was five to ten and the trio were about to leave when Lydia looked up and asked, "Where you guys going?"
"Remember, Stiles told us to meet the rest of the gang at the cafeteria, why don't you come?" Allison said. "Yea sure," Lydia said, and quickly grabbed her stuff and bounced out of the room.
