At the deposition court, the court reporter asked "Eduardo", "And when you signed these documents were you aware that you were signing your own death certificate?"
Eduardo replied, "No. It was insanely stupid of me not to have my own lawyers look over all the...in...in all honesty I thought they were my lawyers.".
Then he turned his chair and looked over to "Mark",
And I literally felt as if one became arrested in time, nothing to hear or to feel except those words, that floated and echoed in the vast space of mind :
"I was your only friend. You got one friend.".
It is the hardest of all to receive treason from the hand you trusted, when the deceitful arrow attacks from your most secure space. When the safe haven abandons you, you find yourself stranded with only one obscure word, "Why?".
It's a fact that the people we usually find it most difficult to forgive after dishonesty, are those we trusted most. Because they broke us at our weakest points.
