A short young woman in her early twenties with long blond hair and wearing a lab coat is walking down the corridors carrying a black medical bag in one hand and in the other she has a vanilla folder open and reading about the subject that she has been assigned to.
The young woman continues walking down the corridors reading her file and not entirely paying attention to her surroundings.
A door hisses open, but since she was so occupied by the file that she was reading, she continues walking until she collided with another person and they both fall on the floor. "Watch where you are going!" a male angrily hollers. He had spilled his coffee all over himself and on his files. "I'm sorry, sir," said the young woman apologized, as she sat up, she instantly recognizes the individual, it was Dr. Gears.
She swiftly stands, then offers her hand to help him up. Dr. Gears extents his hand to the young woman then helps to lift him off the floor.
"I'm sorry, Dr. Gears," she told him apologetically, "You can send me your cleaning bill." Dr. Gears glances at the young woman's files lying on the floor and then glances over at her identification card that is pinned to her blouse, "Ms. Rachel, it was an accident." He tells her, as he gathers his files and hers from the floor, "Please be cautious of this!" Dr. Gears hands over her files, as she stares at the photo then places her files in her folder. "I will, sir," she nervously smiles at him.
"Read the footnotes on the file and don't trust that creature!" Dr. Gears tells her, "and you should be fine." Dr. Gears smiles at her then walks away. And you should be fine? Thought Rachel, Don't we give the same advice to the Class D?
Rachel gazes the file, then takes a deep breath and begins to walk to her task. She continues walking through a corridor, then enters an elevator and pushes a red button. As she waits for the elevator to reach her floor, she opens her medical bag and double checks her items inside her bag.
Once the elevator doors open, she takes a deep breath and walks through a dark corridor. She always becomes a little tense before she has to walk through any dark corridors because one of those monsters that the Foundation has apprehended and contained could be lurking in the shadows preparing to attack her. The next corridor, she walks through is lit. She continues walking until she reaches SCP 049 containment chamber, then stops for a second to gaze at the poster on the wall and enters. She immediately becomes aware that the chamber's room is empty and not a single person is found. Where are those MTF soldiers, she thought angrily. Could they be tracking SCP 049 or turned into Zombies? She steps back and realizes that SCP 049 could be lurking around. As she turns around, she hears a growling sound outside the containment room. She quickly opens her medical bag, then takes out a tranquilizer dart gun and slowly walks out of the chamber, but what she expects to see isn't what she imagines.
Suddenly, a humanoid figure over six feet tall and wearing an old 15-16 century Plague Doctor outfit and a Plague Doctor mask steps out of the shadows. The researcher immediately recognize who it was ...SCP 049, or also known as the Plague Doctor. He tilts his head and says in a calm and soothing British voice, "Hello!"
