Lost and Found

I apologize for my notions

Begin.

I. Lost

She left at midnight,
He knew she was in a hurry,
For not even a note was left

Yet he knew exactly where she was
He always did
For they were one for each other's self

But she got this far
On the Oregon trail
And hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

And seven days he waited
A month or two had passed
And signalled him,
He mourned

II. Search

And so a year had passed
Across miles of distance
A letter had arrived
With no admittance

"I still love you"
She called out his name
Hoping his love was still an unlit match--
And hers, the igniting flame

And a romance had been born anew
Across oceans of physical desire
Criss-crossed and etched in time
Below mountains and hell itself

III. Lookout

And he kept vigilant
Celibacy, the virtue
By which his years had swelled
And his vows remained ever true

As does hers though unspoken
The lines were cleary there
A hurricane in her eyes met him
The clouds took him everywhere

For they could not touch
Nor feel the presence of the other
Yet by day and night
Promised not to find another

And so began their wait
In this world full of doubt
Every opportunity that knocks,
Forgotten by the lookout

IV. The Wait

Torturous times
Everyone agreed with them
Sympathy was abundant
But pity was not forgiven

No man nor woman wants the eyes above
To look down

For even the allseeing hath no power
Over both hemispheres

And thus, the wait

Seconds lasted for hours
And the years were millenia apart

And the chapters of this story
Seemed to lose their final part

Yet what was once lost could always be found
For love hath no boundary
The universe within its bounds

And came the turn of pages
The final chapter
And its dusty sound

V. Found

And he was ready
After the dozen years of wait,
After several thousand days
And worried that she was late

Their love had worked
And all were proud
And nothing more could happen
When she descended from a cloud

And the last few kilometers
Would end my simple story

Now let's make this one tragic
And make it a little gory

VI. The Spice

And so

She took the train at midnight
Looking to complete their fairytale

What could make a greater story
Than a romantic one til the veil

Yet even Romeo and Juliet knew it wouldnt last
For they lived their lives of lies

The answer lies on the spice on the tongue
It ends with her demise

And she returned to him on a casket
Atleast now theyre together
Maybe one day he wont be able to take it
And he'd even pull the trigger

...
And now theyre both on the graveyard
Atleast now theyre together
Lost and Found, they made it
And now theyre young forever
