There is a life I long too see. Chapter Three.

Èponine looked at Enjolras, surprised at what he just said.

"A-Are you sure...?"

Èponine never took charity. Not from anyone. She was way to prideful. But, she didn't feel like Enjolras was trying to give her charity. She felt like he wanted her to stay with him for a little while. Like he cared about her.

"Èponine, I wouldn't have said it if I wasn't sure." Enjolras said, with a heart melting smile.

Èponine couldn't help but smile back at him. She thought he was the sweetest man she'd ever met.

"Fine. Enjolras. I will stay with you for a little while." She said, with a smile on her face.

Enjolras smiled as well. You could tell he was happy Éponine said she would stay with him.

"Come on. I'll take you to my house." Enjolras said, before he helped Èponine up and helped her walk to his house.

While Èponine and Enjolras were walking, Èponine spotted Marius with Cosette. Marius had Cosette's hand, and was pulling her closer to him. Right when their bodies met, Marius kissed Cosette.

Èponine put her head down in sorrow. Enjolras also saw Marius and Cosette as well, and knew that was why Éponine was upset.

Enjolras lifted Èponine's chin, and looked into her eyes. He could see tears starting to form in her eyes. That broke his heart. He hugged Èponine, and tried comforting her.
